Apparently CBS stands for “Carrying Barack’s Shit” — ?

Before Romney issued his statement today, an open mic capture the press coordinating questions to ask Romney, with one saying “no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question”. I’ve transcribed it to the best of my ability but the audio is below for verification:

I’ve labeled one as the CBS News reporter as I believe it is Nancy Cordes who works for CBS News. If I’ve gotten that wrong I apologize and will correct.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: …pointing out that the Republicans… *unintelligible* …Obama….

CBS REPORTER: That’s the question.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: *unintelligible*

CBS REPORTER: Yeah that’s the question. I would just say do you regret your question.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Your question? Your statement?

CBS REPORTER: I mean your statement. Not even the tone, because then he can go off on…

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: And then if he does, if we can just follow up and say ‘but this morning your answer is continuing to sound…’ – *becomes unintelligble*

CBS REPORTER: You can’t say that..

**Later**

CBS REPORTER: I’m just trying to make sure that we’re just talking about, no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Do you stand by your statement or regret your statement?

UPDATE: Newsbusters says the the CBS News reporter is Jan Crawford and she was discussing this with the NPR reporter Ari Shapiro

The DEM/MSM is willing to do anything, to say anything, to conduct anything, to portray anything, to coordinate anything, in order to support Barack Hussein Obama.

This is nothing more than a coordinated attack on Mitt Romney.  This would never occur for questions directed at Barack Hussein Obama.

The media bias and abomination continues.

Which is why I say that you must continue to seek out UK media; it’s where you’ll find more truth than you will in the USA:

It’s sad to say, but you simply cannot trust the Mainstream Media in the United States, because their bias is so incredibly clear and so incredibly naked.

George Stephanopoulos’s vigorous refutation of bias in the media:

MRCTV’s Joe Schoffstall (MRC = Media Research Center) asks “Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos a question.

MRC: “Do you think there’s liberal bias in the media?”

S: “I don’t.  Who are you?”

MRC: “We’re with the Media Research Center.  You don’t believe there’s any media liberal bias?”

S: (slaps on shoulder) “Take care, man.”

And there you have it!

A vigorous and emphatic refutation, from a professional, that bias does not exist in the media.

Don’t you feel assuaged?  I know I do.   .   .

This just in: FEDS DROP ALL CHARGES AGAINST SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO of MARICOPA COUNTY, ARIZONA!

The federal government has closed a criminal probe of alleged financial misconduct by Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio, who styles himself as “America’s toughest sheriff,” and no charges will be filed, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said on Friday.

A separate federal investigation relating to allegations of civil rights abuses by Arpaio’s office is continuing.

The announcement on Friday marked the end of an investigation that began in November 2010 at the behest of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to examine alleged financial improprieties by the county sheriff and his deputies.

A federal criminal inquiry into several of those matters was concluded last summer with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona declining to initiate criminal charges.

Maricopa County authorities were informed on Friday that federal prosecutors had likewise declined to bring charges in connection with allegations that the sheriff’s office had misused county credit cards or misspent money from jail facilities excise taxes.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been portrayed in the AMERICAN media as a racist, a criminal, responsible for the hateful and recriminative application of onerous, fatal, oppressive, unlawful, sexist, suppression of the basic and fundamental rights of Americans nationally.  To include, of course, those persons who are NOT lawful American citizens but whose status is protected and/or ignored by the very administration tasked with enforcement: the US federal government.

To those of you who cared not for Sheriff Joe Arpaio and determined him to be racist and unlawful I say: under Mr Romney, I submit Sheriff Arpaio’s name for Secretary of Homeland Security.

All those in favor, say “aye.”

The DEM/MSM: fair and balanced towards Romney — NOT

I’ll make no bones about it: you cannot trust the bulk of American media for unbiased coverage of most any incident and certainly not involving political events or individuals that do not lean Left or aren’t Demorat in orientation.

Networks That Fawned Over Obama’s World Tour Mock Romney’s International ‘Blunders’

Mitt Romney’s week-long international trip resulted in unrelentingly negative coverage from the big three broadcast networks, a stark change from the glowing press awarded to then-candidate Barack Obama’s world tour in 2008. While Obama was treated like a rock star (from the Associated Press: “It’s not only Obama’s youth, eloquence and energy that have stolen hearts across the Atlantic….”), Romney endured a focus on gaffes and the trivial.

MRC analysts examined all 21 ABC, CBS and NBC evening news stories about Romney’s trip to London, Israel and Poland between July 25 and July 31. Virtually all of these stories (18, or 86%) emphasized Romney’s “diplomatic blunders,” from his “golden gaffe” at the Olympic games to “missteps” that offended the Palestinians.

The first of these “gaffes” was the former GOP governor asserting that security problems in London are not “encouraging.” (This unsurprising point had previously been made by many in the media.)

Obama’s 2008 foreign tour, unlike Romney’s 2012 version, received glowing coverage.

When the Democrat arrived in Berlin to speak, Brian Williams could hardly contain himself. On the July 24, 2008 Nightly News, he trumpeted, “…The man from Chicago, Illinois, the first ever African-American running as presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party, brought throngs of people into the center of Berlin, streaming into this city, surging to get close to him, to hear his message.”

It distills down to this:
  • Obama good;
  • Romney bad

Just ask all the major American news outlets.

Oh, and this little-covered tidbit:

Obama’s job approval rating slips BELOW 44%.

Just sayin’.
