You want a real hero? How about Floyd Carter Sr?

Sadly, you won’t see him touted on Main Street in big Leftist cities because, after all, he was likely nothing more than an ancient Uncle Tom who fought for the US in World War II and, worse yet, worked as a detective for the New York Police Department. Another sellout. He had no idea how to keep anything real.

He didn’t know what he was doing. He was addled. He was doddering. That’s the excuse Leftist Blacks will make. Better yet, they’ll ignore him entirely.

From the NYDailyNews.com:

Floyd Carter Sr., one of the remaining Tuskegee Airmen and NYPD veteran, dies at 95

by Thomas Tracy and Larry McShane

Floyd Carter Sr., one of the last of the Tuskegee Airmen, dedicated his remarkable life to serving his country and his city.

The decorated veteran of three wars and 27 years with the NYPD died Thursday at age 95, leaving a long legacy as a groundbreaking hero pilot and a city police detective.

Carter, who simultaneously rose through the ranks of the U.S. Air Force Reserves and the police, was honored in 2007 with the Congressional Gold Medal by President Bush for breaking the color barrier in Tuskegee.

“We mourn the loss of a true American hero,” read a tweet from the 47th Precinct in his adopted home of the Bronx. “Our community & nation has lost a giant.”

“No,” Leftist blacks will say, “we simply say goodbye to someone who means nothing any more and cooperated with our oppressors.”

Carter rose to the rank of Air Force lieutenant colonel years after joining the group of African-American pilots at Tuskegee University.

He met his wife Atherine there, where the Alabama native was working as part of an all-female repair crew.

Carter wooed his bride-to-be on several dates in his plane, and they were married at the air base in 1945.

Note to today’s American blacks: you have no idea of what daily life consisted for Floyd Carter Sr. You have no idea of the sacrifices he made and kept quiet. You have no idea of the discipline he possessed or the silent honor and pride he held resolutely inside.

In addition to serving during World War II, Carter flew during the Korean and Vietnam wars and led the first squadron of supply-laden planes into Berlin during the famed Cold War airlift of 1948-49.

During the Tet Offensive, Carter flew U.S. troops and supplies into South Vietnam.

Do you understand what this man did? He served and flew in WWII, he served and flew in the Korean War, and he served and flew during the Vietnam War.

By the end of his tenure in 1974, he was commander of the 732nd Military Airlift Squadron at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey.

My father served and flew in WWII and Vietnam. He did not serve during the Korean War. And Carter became the commander of an entire AF squadron.

Carter joined the NYPD in 1953, earned his detective’s gold shield within three years, and retired in 1980.

His NYPD duties included work as a bodyguard for visiting heads of state, and Carter spent time with Cuban leader Fidel Castro and Soviet head Nikita Khrushchev, recalled his son Floyd Jr.

He earned a half-dozen citations for his outstanding police work, and survived a number of shootouts with armed bandits.

And still he served his country quietly, steadfastly, with discipline, bravery and loyalty.

Oddly enough, Carter was called up for active duty during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

Carter remained active into his 90s, serving in November 2015 as the grand marshal of the annual Veterans Day Parade in the Bronx. He was honored by ex-Congressman Charles Rangel in 2005 with a proclamation for his lifelong achievements.

God bless this man, hold him on high, honor him, show him as a stellar representative of the United States. And an American Hero.

He deserves no less.

Carter was survived by his wife of more than seven decades and their two children, Floyd Jr. and Rozalind, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were not yet finalized.

And so please remind me.

Just why was it that American blacks gave up the once-nuclear black family?

We talked about the under-reported recent good news for Conservatives, about various court wins, and about a DOJ that, under Sessions, seems to be actually waking up, albeit a tad bit like Rip Van Winkle.

I wrapped things up by telling you the truth about Angela Merkel: she lies. And admits she lies. Why now? Politics, of course. Listen, watch, see, and be edumacated.

The insanity of California’s Bay Area housing

California is insane.

It’s a psychotic bitch juggling a crate of leaking nitroglycerine.

The state with the worst quality of life, the highest poverty and skyrocketing crime. Courtesy of Leftists and Demorats.

A state where the poor get poorer and the rich get richer, whilst people from China flood the Bay Area, San Jose, Cupertino and Silicon Valley housing markets with cash in order to scoop up houses for $1.7 million dollars that would otherwise sell, in a sane state, for $110,000.

Because, oh, by the way, you can’t own property in China.

“Middle Class” in California? What’s that?

Watch this if you doubt anything I’ve written.

Now do you believe me?

California is insane.

The freedom of Delta. The freedom of Georgia.

Following the Parkland, Florida shooting, Delta Airlines thought it would be an excellent idea to listen to the inherent wisdom of 16-year-olds with regard to the Bill of Rights.

Delta Airlines decided to sever corporate discounts offered to the NRA because of, well, corporate cowardice. They’d much rather side with those who’d remove American freedoms — specifically, the Bill of Rights — than with our foundational documents.

From MarketWatch.com:

NRA backlash: United, Delta are latest companies to dump gun lobby promotions

by Mike Murphy

Airlines United and Delta are the latest, and among the biggest, in a string of companies cutting largely promotional ties with the National Rifle Association in the wake of last week’s mass shooting at a Florida high school.

Fine. Delta and other companies are well within their rights to eschew their partnerships, affiliations and discounts with other entities at a moment’s notice if it’s within contractual limits.

Freedom. I’m all about it.

On the other hand, it’s freedom that allows other entities to react to Delta’s corporate decision.

Georgia governor signs bill nixing Delta tax break after NRA split

by Brooke Singman

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal on Friday signed into law a tax bill that fellow Republicans used to punish Atlanta-based Delta in retaliation for the airline’s decision to sever ties with the National Rifle Association.

The final version of the bill dropped a tax break worth millions to the airline. Until it was removed, the amendment would have renewed a jet fuel tax exemption taken off the books in 2015.

But GOP lawmakers, led by Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle, moved quickly to punish Delta for its split with the NRA.

“Businesses have every legal right to make their own decisions, but the Republican majority in our state legislature also has every right to govern guided by our principles,” Cagle said in a statement.

The bill — which includes a sweeping income tax cut – passed both chambers on an overwhelming vote on Thursday.

Delta was quick to bleat in response that — wait for it — their dropping of the NRA was mostly symbolic. It only involved “13 members.” That’s their official number. From Money.CNN.com:

Only 13 people used that Delta NRA discount

by Danielle Wiener-Bronner

Delta says only 13 people used its NRA discount.

The airline’s decision to end the discount cost it a tax break in Georgia that would have been worth tens of millions of dollars.

Delta (DAL) was offering discounted travel to NRA members heading to their annual convention in Dallas in May. But it pulled the offer on Saturday, under public pressure after 17 people were shot to death at a high school in Florida.

The decision angered Georgia Republicans, who stripped an exemption for jet fuel out of a tax bill that was signed into law on Friday.

Frankly, I couldn’t care less how many NRA members were affected. It only makes it sweeter when Delta admits it became punitive due to political prairie winds.

And that the mathematics bottoms out at “13 lonely NRA subscribers = millions of Delta Airlines dollars lost.” Boo-fucking-hoo.

Why would that be? Because Atlanta, Georgia is the headquarters and national hub of Delta Airlines via Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Thus endeth the lesson.
