The insanity of ESPN and Leftist news

This is Confederate General Robert E. Lee. Just ask any Leftist at ESPN.

Here I present for you two stories: one that you’d swear wasn’t true but is — and a story that isn’t true but Leftist journalists insisted was.

Whaaat??

You won’t believe it either.

First, the true story you’d swear wasn’t. Yes, it’s absolutely that over-the-top ridiculous.

From FoxNews.com:

ESPN pulls Asian-American announcer from Virginia football game because he has a Confederate general’s name

In the wake of the events in Charlottesville, Va., ESPN decided to pull one of its announcers from calling a University of Virginia football game — because his name is Robert Lee.

Lee, an Asian-American sportscaster who started with the network in 2016, was moved to a different game “simply because of the coincidence of his name,” ESPN said, referencing the Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

No. I am not kidding. Watch.

Yes, precisely. ESPN believes its audience is so inherently daft that it cannot possibly begin to readily differentiate between a young Asian sports commentator and a dead, old Confederate Army Caucasoid general with a beard and long hair.

If you think that’s wondrous — but wait. There’s more.

The American Media Maggots actually believed that on Tucker Carlson’s Monday show he was gravely serious when he said that President Trump looking at the sun during the solar eclipse was “perhaps the most impressive thing any president has ever done.” YGBFKM.

No. I am as deadly serious as the man in this video.

It’s a joke but it’s not a joke. No, it’s much more serious than that. Wait, it’s perhaps the most seriously insightful thing in months.

Nathan McDermott of CNN bit. Big time.

The UK’s Claire Phipps at the Guardian also chomped.

Binkowski is even more serious. This is her specific Tweet. Grok that.

At least the bald dude had a semblance of a clue, but not much. Wait until you see and hear the reactions of the American Media Maggots who were truly and nakedly beyond stupid. Who best to point out said stupidity but Tucker Carlson himself and Greg Gutfeld.

Just as the humorless Leftists have time and again proven themselves bereft of facts, much less compassion, they continue to subvert America hand-in-bloody-hand with the American Media Maggots, Antifa, anarchists and the willing complicity of Demorats.

I’ve said before and continue to say: “you can’t write this shite.”

Still, the Left-embracing American Media Maggots fundamentally cannot believe anyone would deign to possess the temerity to label them Fake News.

As they simultaneously bleed cash, readers, advertising and — Leftist journalistas themselves. I wonder why the AMM doesn’t dare to speak about the heinous, slashing cuts in newsrooms all across the fruited plain? And the fact that their ponderous corporations pay for shite?

“Give the governor a harumph!”

They’ve gotta keep their phony-baloney jobs!

CNN’s fake news: for clicks, eyeballs, money and agenda

President Trump might Tweet many things that may involve hyperbole, but one thing he’s written that’s absolutely true is this: CNN is most certainly fake news.

Biased news. Lazy news. Incurious news. Unprofessional news. Languid news. Impotent news. Selectively-outraged news. Haughty news. Elitist news. Ambiguous news. Entitled news. Agendized news. Self-absorbed news. Narcissistic news.

And these days: frightened news. Cowardly news. Bleeding dollars, laying off staffers, hemorrhaging readers. They are losing power, control and money. They are in Desperation Mode and, as with anyone who is desperate, they are not thinking straight. But could they ever?

Just as we learned despicable things about Planned Parenthood, James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas is uncovering despicable things about, finally, the American Media Maggots in the guise of CNN.

You need to see these videos and hear these videos because, naturally, CNN will not even address them on-air. Likewise other media groups will eschew them. But James O’Keefe has done nothing but prove over and again in how much disdain and contempt CNN holds you, the viewer and news consumer.

Jeff Zucker and CNN believe you to be — and in many cases you are, save the bulk of my readers — completely ignorant dupes. They expect you to buy their bullshit because of the long and careful crafting of their brand which, now, is beginning to unwind and literally fall apart despite their so-called “best efforts.”

Their first video features a CNN Supervising Producer named John Bonifield who readily admits that the Russia theme regarding President Trump is, first, unmitigated bullshit and, second, a theme pushed by CNN CEO Jeff Zucker over and above most everything else.

Then, this second video from Project Veritas.

The third American Pravda, CNN video.

And the fourth American Pravda CNN video.

Why are these videos named “Pravda” you ask? After the Russian newspaper whose sole job during the Cold War was to act as nothing more than an arm and organ for the Soviet government and Communist party. Nothing more. It literally trotted out the Party Line. Just as CNN does for the Demorats and Leftists.

Remember, if you will, that it was CNN who told us it was illegal for us proles, us commoners, us groundlings, us serfs, us rabble to actually look at Wikileaks when, on the other hand, it remarkably was not so for CNN.

Right. Because only they have the lock on real news. Only they can determine what is appropriate for us to see and hear. Only they possess the wisdom and authority to truly vet what can be considered as actual news for the masses, thoroughly prepped, sifted, edited and   as it were, for consumption by CNN’s lessers — namely, us.

Let’s watch and listen — from CNN’s own video footage — how the network somehow managed to “lose” or cut off reporters when the information got too close to actual facts or negative impressions involving Hillary Clinton.

Having been exposed as fake news by a president who is a bare-knuckled brawler, and having taken some very serious hits himself from CNN and all makes and models of other news outlets since his first hour in office, the video below was Tweeted by Trump this past Sunday, July 2nd.

Creative, yes, but horribly offensive? Worse than bear scat? Not hardly. In fact, it was creative and amusing. Did I larf out loud? No, but I rarely do that these days.

However, instead of taking a large cup of shut-the-fuck-up, CNN did the one thing they really ought not to have done. It made a huge deal of the video and said, in essence, that CNN and reporter’s lives would be lost and the earth would stop rotating on its axis due to this video, not unlike the one which clearly predicated the Benghazi attack in 2012. Howard Kurtz explains by way of Bret Baier.

Even CNBC wrote this about the video and CNN’s reaction.

CNN faces backlash over handling of doctored Trump video

  • The network said late Tuesday it had identified the Reddit user who originally posted an old WWE video of Trump “roughing up” pro wrestling maven Vince McMahon
  • CNN said online that it had decided not to publish the user’s name because he is a private citizen who apologized

CNN says safety concerns led to its decision not to reveal the identity of the man behind a doctored anti-CNN video. Yet the way the decision was explained and deep distrust of the network among President Donald Trump’s supporters provoked a backlash Wednesday.

The network said late Tuesday it had identified the Reddit user who originally posted an old WWE video of Trump “roughing up” pro wrestling maven Vince McMahon, superimposing the CNN logo over McMahon’s face. Trump tweeted a link to the video, with some modifications, and it has become the president’s most-shared social media post yet, according to Twitter.

Blackmail indeed by a corporation worth billions of dollars and having a massive cadre of attorneys on tap against one citizen whose privacy was violated so that CNN could save a modicum of face. I ask one thing: look at 18 USC 241 below. Then ask yourself if the section could be applied to CNN.

18 U.S. Code § 241 – Conspiracy against rights

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same.

Is CNN also exposed for prosecution under a New York law, PEN § 135.60, regarding “coercion in the second degree”?

One of my favorite hosts, Tucker Carlson, weighs in on the CNN blackmail issue.

Even the Associated Press can sack up and admit it made mistakes. From Breitbart.com:

Associated Press Admits It Published Fake News About President Trump and Russian Ties

by Penny Starr

The Associated Press issued a “clarification” on Friday regarding articles it published on multiple days, from April through the end of June. Those articles claimed 17 U.S. intelligence agencies agreed that Russia not only tried to influence the 2016 presidential election but did so to benefit Donald Trump over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

The clarification read:

WASHINGTON (AP) — In stories published April 6, June 2, June 26 and June 29, The Associated Press reported that all 17 U.S. intelligence agencies have agreed that Russia tried to influence the 2016 election to benefit Donald Trump. That assessment was based on information collected by three agencies – the FBI, CIA and National Security Agency – and published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, which represents all U.S. intelligence agencies. Not all 17 intelligence agencies were involved in reaching the assessment.

Do you see? Do you understand? This information became accepted as patently true, beginning and continuing the meme recognized today by Leftists and certainly many on the right, to include Michael Medved, that all 17 alphabet agencies signed off on the Russian idea. When in fact they had not.

An article the Associated Press (AP) published on June 22 not only gave false information about the number of intelligence agencies cited in it but criticized Trump for questioning the reporting. Trump also pointed out that if any Russian hacking into the election took place, it took place when former President Barack Obama was in office.

But what is CNN instead doing? It is doubling down on “we’ve done nothing wrong.”

Dr James Mitchell responds.

Of course, once CNN opened the door many people walked through it. Ahem. They crowded through it.

I suppose CNN is going to “out” these people as well?

Perhaps CNN will target this man?

Maybe CNN will go after Canadians?

Would CNN dare to enter the Matrix in search of a lawsuit?

And what of John Nada?

Or the swamp itself? Will CNN attempt to “out” the swamp? I think not.

It was Russia Russia Russia. But here’s what the American Media Maggots, to include CNN, are not covering with regard to Russia: John Podesta’s involvement.

Then this from Breitbart.com:

CNN Losing to FX, Nick-At-Nite, TLC as Scandals, Controversies Take Toll

by Adam Shaw

CNN, rocked by a fake news scandal and accusations of blackmail, is taking a significant hit in its primetime ratings, losing not only to Fox News and MSNBC, but also to FX, TLC, The Discovery Channel — and even children’s TV network Nick-at-Nite.

It appears the network is suffering in the ratings as a result. As first reported by The Federalist, cable ratings for June 26 — July 2 show that while Fox and MSNBC occupy the first and second slots for ratings 8 p.m. – 11 p.m., CNN is in 13th place.

This means that the “most trusted name in news is being beaten by Fox News, MSNBC, HGTV, USA Network, TBS Network, the History Channel, ESPN, the Discovery Channel, FX, TLC, Nick-at-Nite, and Investigation Discovery.

CNN is nothing like an impartial, objective network. They are everything but. They have done their level best to get balcony seats in the theater of their own demise. It wasn’t easy. It was long, hard, difficult work. But they’ve finally broken through to the point where more and more people are truly beginning to realize that CNN is in fact fake news.

Sights are now being set on other networks and media organs. Trust me on this.

Oh hell, wait. I can’t publish this post without including a final CNN parody.

Now that one made me larf out loud. Ahem. I continue.

Yes, CNN allowed three reporters to “resign” over fake news, the result of a retracted Russia story. But they have obviously not seeing the light. I don’t believe they can.

Let’s be honest. CNN is acting just like Hillary Rodham Clinton for the exact same reasons. They both can’t admit that November 9th ushered in a new president. Neither of them can admit they may be even the slightest percentile responsible for their current plights. They are the victims. It’s always someone else’s fault. Never theirs.

They complete lack the ability to conduct introspection. To possess insight. To focus their own incredibly-critical and judgmental eyes inwards.

There is a new paradigm shift coming for the American Media Maggots.

Oh wait; I don’t mean for the better.

BZ

P.S.

Okay, okay, I couldn’t pass this one up either. Again I actually had to larf out loud.

“Lordy, that would be really bad”

Truer words, as above, have not recently been written. It’s all about James Comey.

And the testimony of FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday before the US Senate Judiciary Committee on FBI Oversight only serves to underline and prove one thing: Mr Comey needs to be forced to resign, and immediately.

Certainly Hillary Clinton thinks so. It was Comey and the Russians who did her in despite saying she is taking “absolute personal full responsibility” for her loss. Uh, no. She doesn’t take full responsibility. She spoke to CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday.

“If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president,” she told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour at a Women for Women International event in New York.

“I take absolute personal responsibility. I was the candidate, I was the person who was on the ballot. I am very aware of the challenges, the problems, the shortfalls that we had,” Clinton said, before adding that she was “on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey’s letter on October 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me and got scared off.”

This is the same Hillary Clinton who was enraged that the election wasn’t simply handed over to her as required by us underlings, proles. commoners, serfs and unwashed rabble.

[It’s interesting to note that Hillary Clinton is writing a book about her loss, Huma Abedin is writing a book and Barack Hussein Obama is making $400,000 speeches to Wall Street.]

The very next day following Clinton’s fuzzy softball interview, Director Comey’s testimony in the Senate was jam-gepacked with bursting volumes of self-serving and contradictory statements. (The full testimony can be read here. Full video is here.) Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley originally called the Wednesday oversight hearing of the FBI to examine what the agency knows about a 2015 terrorist attack in Garland, Texas. Things got a bit off-topic, however.

To what am I referring? From Breitbart.com:

Comey: Anthony Weiner Received Classified Clinton Emails

by Kristina Wong

FBI Director James Comey hit back Wednesday against Democratic criticism of his decision to reopen the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails 11 days before the 2016 election.

He said although it made him “mildly nauseous” to think he could have had some impact on the election, he believes he did the right thing and to this day, would not change his mind.

In explaining his decision to reopen the investigation, he said investigators found metadata on the seized laptop of Anthony Weiner — top Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s husband — that showed there were “thousands” of Clinton’s emails on the device, including classified information.

Investigators believed the emails could include emails missing from her first three months as secretary of state.

Comey said after repeatedly telling members of Congress that the FBI had concluded its investigation into Clinton, the only right thing to do was to let Congress know the case was reopened.

“I could see two doors and they were both actions. One was labeled ‘speak,’ the other was labeled ‘conceal,’” he said.

But wait. Was classified information really involved in any of those emails?

He said Abedin forwarded “hundreds of thousands” of emails to Weiner, 40,000 of which they reviewed. Three thousand of those were work-related, and 12 of them contained classified information, he said.

But he said Abedin and Weiner were not charged with any wrongdoing since investigators did not find a general sense of criminal intent — a decision that Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) scoffed at.

The hearing conducted on Wednesday featured Senator Diane Feinstein asking a question that, in retrospect, she wished she never touched.

She received a lot more information, damning information, than she wanted. She opened the door and FBI Director James Comey walked right through it. I suspect she was hoping Comey would simply reply that the information was classified. Sorry, senator. Feinstein was just pissed, regarding 702 data**, that her Demorat ox got gored.

But what really happened here? Again, just like July of 2016, Comey makes an argument for prosecution — first, against Hillary Clinton now, here, against Huma Abedin — and then does nothing about it. How did Weiner come to be in possession of classified information? Huma Abedin sent it to him. This is a violation of 18 USC 793 — Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information, to wit:

(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

As I wrote in July of last year regarding Director Comey’s decision to refuse sending the Hillary Clinton case on to DOJ:

To me it is quite clear that FBI Director James Comey, about whose probity I wrote quite a number of times on the blog, has dishonored his law enforcement oath, showing that he has no fidelity, no bravery and no integrity with regard to his decision to not recommend prosecution of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But in today’s hearing with Trey Gowdy and Jason Chaffetz as documented at Politico, James Comey revealed his flawed and craven, cowardly political thinking when one is familiar with law enforcement prosecutorial thresholds as I am.

Director Comey determined a manner in which to weasel his way out of recommending the prosecution of Clinton.  At Thursday’s hearing he went out of his way — again, just like Wednesday — to make his own case and then fall back on a position/decision that isn’t his to make.

But the most insightful part has arrived.  Comey outs himself:

Chaffetz then asked whether it was that he was just not able to prosecute it or that Clinton broke the law.

“Well, I don’t want to give an overly lawyerly answer,” Comey said. “The question I always look at is there evidence that would establish beyond a reasonable doubt that somebody engaged in conduct that violated a criminal statute, and my judgment here is there is not. “

And this is how James Comey attempts to rationalize his decision.  He states he does not believe his case established guilt “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

NEWSFLASH: It is not UP to YOU, Director Comey, to assemble a case that yields a determination of “beyond a reasonable doubt.”  That threshold is up to the DOJ or more pointedly a Grand Jury, not you or your organization.  All you need to compile a case for submission is “probable cause.”  That’s what real cops and real DAs in America do.  Their jobs.  They stay in their lanes and do their jobs.

As noted about Comey’s wrong-headed decision to give a pass to Hillary Clinton regarding the classified information on her server and in her emails, there are crimes of specific intent and general intent. Comey insists he must have specific intent before forwarding a case to DOJ. That’s wrong. There are sections, as above, that demand no such thing. Watch:

“She had no sense that what she was doing was a violation of the law.” Really, Mr Comey? “We couldn’t prove any sort of criminal intent.” You might try reading the law, Mr Comey. Federal law. The law you’re tasked with following and upholding.

Senator Ted Cruz had questions.

The fact patterns in Hillary Clinton’s case and Huma Abedin’s case do violate federal law as indicated by Senator Cruz above and common sense.

Director Comey’s job is not to be the attorney, but to be the compiler, and assembler of cases and, then, submitting a case to the Department of Justice. He essentially has and is usurping the function of prosecutors by withholding cases from the DOJ.

Tucker Carlson, below, interviews Democrat Representative Tim Ryan of Ohio and, more pointedly, former US Attorney Jim Digenova. Listen to Digenova’s clear and cogent case against FBI Director James Comey.

On Wednesday, for good measure, Director Comey decided to throw former US Attorney General Loretta Lynch under the bus — deservedly but quite willingly.

Now there is information from RightScoop.com, announced by Catherine Herridge of Fox News:

REVEALED: FBI found email that Lynch would do everything she could to protect Hillary from CRIMINAL CHARGES

Fox News reporter Catherine Herridge says this is one of the biggest headlines out of the hearing today with the FBI director, pointing out that the FBI had found an email was obtained by Russian hackers that indicated that former DOJ hack Loretta Lynch would do everything she could to protect Hillary from prosecution:

This was the story from Wednesday. And who covered it? Anyone but Fox?

Note how Director Comey refuses to answer. The fix was in. Comey is a disreputable political hack and has proven himself time and again to be so.

FBI Director James Comey must go. He is too self-centered, too much the political animal and, frankly, too narcissistic to continue in his current position. He insists he is apolitical but every movement he makes and statement he gives proves otherwise.

It’s all about James Comey.
