Dear Colin, Guess you have been pretty busy these last few days. For the record I don’t think any more or less of you for not standing for the National Anthem. Honestly, I never thought that much about you, or any professional athlete for that matter, to begin with. I’ve read your statement a few times and want you to know I am one of the reasons you are protesting. You see I am a retired police officer that had the misfortune of having to shoot and kill a 19-year-old African American male. And just like you said, I was the recipient of about $3,000 a month while on leave which was a good thing because I had to support a wife and three children under 7-years-old for about 2 months with that money. Things were pretty tight because I couldn’t work part time. Every police officer I’ve ever known has worked part-time to help make ends meet.

You know Colin the more I think about it the more we seem to have in common. I really pushed myself in rehab to get back on the street, kind of like you do to get back on the field. You probably have had a broken bone or two and some muscle strains and deep bruising that needed a lot of work. I just had to bounce back from a gunshot wound to the chest and thigh. Good thing we both get paid when we are too banged up to “play”, huh?

We both also know what it’s like to get blindsided. You by a 280- pound defensive end, ouch! Me, by a couple of rounds fired from a gun about 2 feet away, into my chest and thigh. We also both make our living wearing uniforms, right? You have probably ruined a jersey or two on the field of play. I still have my blood stained shirt that my partner and paramedics literally ripped off my back that cold night in January. Fortunately, like you I was given a new one.

Speaking of paramedics aren’t you glad the second we get hurt trainers and doctors are standing by waiting to rush onto the field to scoop us up. I’m thankful they get to you in seconds. It only took them about 10 minutes to get to me. By the grace of God, the artery in my thigh didn’t rupture or else 10 minutes would have been about 9 minutes too late. We also have both experienced the hate and disgust others have just because of those uniforms we wear. I sure am glad for your sake that the folks who wear my uniform are on hand to escort you and those folks that wear your uniform into stadiums in places like Seattle!

I guess that’s where the similarities end Colin. You entertain for a living, I and almost 800,000 others across this country serve and protect. Are there some bad apples within my profession? Absolutely and they need to be identified and fired or arrested! But you know what, the vast majority do the right thing, the right way, for the right reason. Did I mention that seconds before I was shot, an elderly African American gentleman walking down the sidewalk, turned to my partner and I as we rode past and said, “Get them.” Get who you ask? The thugs terrorizing an otherwise good and decent neighborhood, home to dozens of good, decent African American families trying to raise those families in communities not protected by gates and security guards. No these folks and families depend on America’s Law Enforcement Officers.

Colin I have buried 7 friends, killed in the line of duty and three others who have committed suicide. I have attended more funerals than I care to remember of neighboring departments who have lost officers in the line of duty, during my career. Law Enforcement Officers with different backgrounds, upbringings, and experiences united by their willingness to answer the call to protect and serve their fellow citizens.

Colin I am sorry for the endorsement deals you may lose and the dip in jersey sales, but please know you will NEVER lose what these men and women and their families have lost. And so whether you stand or sit during the National Anthem or not means very little to me. As for me and the men and women on whose team I was privileged to serve, we will put on our ballistic vests, badge, and gun, kiss our loved one’s goodbye, for some tragically for the last time, and out into a shift of uncertainty we will go. We will continue to protect and continue to serve and we will be standing at attention Colin, not just for the playing of our National Anthem, but far more importantly for the playing of Taps.

Keep the game up, Colin Kaepernick.  You have every right to say what you want within the contract that you signed.  The 49ers and the NFL have every right to defend you verbally and in writing if they wish.

Just as I have the right to conclude you are an overpaid and under-thinking man who doesn’t deserve one cent of money paid to you, the 49ers or any of the products you endorse.

Memorial Day 2016 in Chicago

Tomb of the Unknown 3 SoldiersWhile some of America was taking time, albeit too briefly, to reflect on the sacrifices made by our courageous US military personnel on Memorial Day, the city of Chicago was continuing its all-important job of killing more black people.

Because black lives don’t matter.  They don’t matter to the Demorats, they don’t matter to Leftists, they don’t matter to the local Chicago politicians, and I can make an excellent argument that black lives don’t matter to blacks themselves.

Chicago’s Bloody Memorial Day: 66 Shot, 6 Killed

An incredible 66 people were shot, although just six were killed, over Chicago’s Memorial Day weekend. The carnage pushed the number of gunshot victims well above 1,500 this year in this Democratic-run city.

One of the youngest victims was a 15-year-old girl who was killed on the city’s famed Lake Shore Drive while a passenger in a car driven by a known gang member.

The blood continued to flow all weekend, with victims in their teens and early 20s dominating the mounting tally.

Memorial Day 2016 outpaced the toll of violence for both 2015 and 2014, but not the death tolls. In 2015, 45 were wounded, and 12 deaths were recorded. In 2014, 21 were wounded and eight killed. While far more were shot this year than any other Memorial Day weekend, Chicago can take some solace that fewer ended up dead.

So far this year there have been 1,514 people shot in Chicago. Of that number, 228 have been killed by the gunfire. An additional 26 murders by other means pushed the death toll to 254. Sixty-two of those homicides happened in May.

So just who kills whom in Chicago?  Let’s examine the statistics — not just from “conservative media,” but from governmental and the American Media Maggots as well.

New study shows likelihood of being shot in Chicago

The study, called “Tragic, but not random: The social contagion of nonfatal gunshot injuries,” was published in the January 2015 issue of Social Science & Medicine. It shows the risk of becoming a gunshot victim in Chicago is “more concentrated than previously thought,” according to Andrew Papachristos, one of the authors.

And as was previously known, race was a key risk factor in getting shot, the study noted. For every 100,000 people, an average of one white person, 28 Hispanics and 113 blacks became victims of nonfatal shootings every year in Chicago over the six-year study period.

Are you perhaps sensing a trend here?

AllenWest.com then weighs in on some statistics — Allen West being a retired Lt Colonel in the US Army and a former Florida Representative.  Who is himself black.

On average, 4,472 black men were killed by other black men annually between Jan. 1, 2009, and Dec. 31, 2012, according to the FBI’s Supplementary Homicide Reports. Using FBI and CDC statistics, Professor Johnson calculates that 112 black men, on average, suffered both justified and unjustified police-involved deaths annually during this period.

This equals 2.5 percent of these 4,472 yearly deaths. For every black man — criminal or innocent — killed by a cop, 40 black men were murdered by other black men. The, at most, 2.5 percent of the problem generates relentless rage. And, yet, it is rude-to-racist to mention 97.5 percent of the problem.

The notion that America’s cops simply are gunning down innocent black people is one of today’s biggest and deadliest lies”.

The numbers are horrifying

Simply put, Chicago has a massive Black-on-Black murder problem. All of the data below comes from the Chicago Police Department. You can access it here.

What stands out the most looking at both charts and knowing that 90% of the victims are male is that a lot of young, Black men are being killed in Chicago. No race comes even close to overall deaths by homicide. Keep in mind that based on 2010 Census numbers, only 33% of Chicago’s population was classified as Black. 

The data on offenders also tells a troubling story: Young, Black males are overwhelmingly committing most of the murders. Based on the data on the victims, that means young, Black males are primarily killing other young, Black males. What a terrible situation. 

“Black Lives Matter” have no problem with excoriating anyone and everyone not in sync with their racist mantra.  Anyone suggesting — and that includes any and all Leftists — that “all lives matter” is hoisted on their own Leftist petard.

But the only logical bottom line is this: there are any number of reasons that blacks are murdering blacks at remarkable rates.  Those aside, that law enforcement is a “major player” in the demise of young black males is an out-and-out lie.  Repeat: a lie.  Young black urban males predominantly kill young black urban males.  That is a fact.

The logical extension is this: blacks continuously demand what they term “respect.”  Let me state the obvious for those who cannot ken the obvious: when blacks truly respect each other, then and only then will respect be 1) given and 2) earned.

Blacks: earn it.

Law enforcement isn’t the problem in your “black community.”

Try some introspection.

San Antonio tabloid declares war on cops

SA Observer Editor Stephanie Zarriello, not a friend of law enforcement.

The San Antonio Observer, a weekly Leftist tabloid aimed at the black community, has declared war on cops — as we watch Stephanie Zarriello, the Caucasoid Editor-In-Chief of said weekly, say so at a press conference in the below video — with a bow-tied Black Muslim member in the background for security, his earpiece in place.

“Like Ku Klux Klansmen with hoods, they do everything they can to protect their identities for fear of being brought to justice.  Just as the names and addresses of sex offenders are publicized in order to protect the public from their wicked behavior, we feel that our community has the right to the exact same level of protection.  We of the San Antonio Observer newspaper are looking into the future prospects of publicizing the names and the addresses of all San Antonio Police Department officers.”

This reprehensible exhibition follows on the heels of two terrible events.

First was the shooting by the San Antonio Police Department of a black male, the predicating event for Zarriello’s puerile rant.

SAN ANTONIO — John Lee, who fatally shot an unarmed man on the North Side last week, was not the only uniformed San Antonio Police Department officer at the scene, according to new details revealed in an incident report obtained by MySA.com Wednesday.

Officer Lee said he believed Antronie Scott, 36, was holding a gun at the time of the shooting, however, the object was a cellphone.

Wanted on two felony warrants, Scott was being followed by undercover officers Thursday, McManus said in a briefing that night. They watched as he drove to the Wood Hollow Apartments at 10362 Sahara St., near Isom and Ramsey roads, about 6:45 p.m. and called for a uniformed officer to approach him, McManus said.

The other tragic event involved the shooting deaths of two Harford County (MD) deputies this Wednesday; one deputy was shot in the head without warning.

Members of David Brian Evans’ estranged family were alarmed to see him several times in the last month at the Panera Bread restaurant in Abingdon, calling police to report that the man they say shot his former wife almost 20 years ago was back in town.

On Wednesday morning, his former wife saw him there again and called police. Harford County sheriff’s Senior Deputies Patrick Dailey and Mark Logsdon responded — and were shot to death by Evans, who was killed by return fire.

More details emerged Thursday about Evans, 68, whose son says had abused his family, and about the officers who died at his hands. Dailey, 52, and Logsdon, 43, were veterans of the Marines and the Army, respectively, who left behind children, parents and what Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler said were “absolutely” devastated colleagues.

And this despicable threat was offered by Zarriello in keeping with what many term the current “war on cops,” as I wrote here on Tuesday and then spoke about on the Tami Jackson Show on the 405 Media that same day, with former Chief of Police Enes Smith.  The podcast is here.

Later, Zarriello recanted her words to Fox’s Shannon Bream, saying that, no, that’s not what she meant.  She meant to perhaps publish the addresses of the “bad cops” but could not delineate a “bad cop.”  Bream asked how Zarriello would determine a “bad cop” if they haven’t been convicted in an American court of a charge or crime?  Zarriello said yes, that’s true, they should only be identified by a conviction.

Zarriello made the linkage of publishing the addresses of law enforcement officers in San Antonio to the publishing of the addresses of registered sex offenders.

And the owner of the Observer didn’t even provide his name.

Absolutely disgusting.

But I want you to understand, without reservation, that in the eyes and minds of Leftists, those two events are one and the same, with the unspoken exception that sex offenders can’t help themselves and cops have it coming.

I’m sorry, White Editor Goddess, ruler of black publishing in San Antonio, but that’s not what you said at your press conference.

Your publication’s owner — who refused to give his name to the press — said well, now, we may have overstated things a bit.

Finally, I determined it would be appropriate to weigh in with the following comment.

Dr Ben Carson BLASTS Democrats and black community

Finally, a logical, mature black man who dares, truly dares to state the obvious.

Background: Dr Ben Carson, running for president, visited Harlem in New York City on Wednesday.  He said:

“Of course black lives matter.  What I feel, instead of people pointing fingers at each other, and just creating strife, what we need to be talking about is, how do we solve the problem in the black community of murder.

“For a young black male, in the inner city, homicide is the most likely cause of death. That’s ridiculous.

“Most of those occur at the hands of other young black males. We need to be talking about, ‘Why is that occurring?’ We need to be talking about, ‘How do we instill values into people again?’ And those are family and faith.

“I think it’s because the Democrat Party has subscribed to the Lyndon Johnson philosophy.

“Lyndon Johnson said, if you give those ‘n-words’ such and such, they’ll vote for us for the next 200 years.”

The rampant hypocrisy of Leftists, Progressives, Demorats, is exposed by Dr Ben Carson.  He speaks words for which most anyone else would be pilloried by the media at best, and their lives destroyed at the worst.

I wrote before that Demorats and Leftists continuously prove that black lives don’t matter.  And in truth, Demorats and Leftists are the Slavemasters and young urban black males (and others) are the slaves.

Blacks, listen up.
