Piers Morgan and CNN Plan End to His Prime-Time Show

Piers Morgan and CNN Plan End to His Prime-Time Show

by David Carr, The Media Equation

There have been times when the CNN host Piers Morgan didn’t seem to like America very much — and American audiences have been more than willing to return the favor. Three years after taking over for Larry King, Mr. Morgan has seen the ratings for “Piers Morgan Live” hit some new lows, drawing a fraction of viewers compared with competitors at Fox News and MSNBC.

It’s been an unhappy collision between a British television personality who refuses to assimilate — the only football he cares about is round and his lectures on guns were rife with contempt — and a CNN audience that is intrinsically provincial. After all, the people who tune into a cable news network are, by their nature, deeply interested in America.

Perhaps a brief interjection: actual listening Americans deplored being lectured-to by a stunningly ineffectual media cunt who wouldn’t know how to defend himself in a game of tag.  Because, after all, that United Kingdom — they’re certainly the epitome of national power and stolid sovereignty, are they not?

Yes.  They are not.

“Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it,” he said. “That’s run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me.”

Yes, I know, it’s that pesky Second Amendment we stupid Yankees seem to revere.  Clinging to our “small town” guns and religion.  But isn’t it odd that you shepherd’s-pie-eating Brits seem to surround yourselves with more and more guns held by government officials than at any other point in your history?  And still you’re losing your culture and your significance and your own sovereignty day by bleeding day?

Perhaps a bit of accuracy is called for:

Mr. Morgan’s approach to gun regulation was more akin to King George III, peering down his nose at the unruly colonies and wondering how to bring the savages to heel. He might have wanted to recall that part of the reason the right to bear arms is codified in the Constitution is that Britain was trying to disarm the citizenry at the time.

Damn Mr Carr for ripping a sheet from the play-book of Captain Obvious.

I say: send Mr Morgan, the quintessential loser British twat, back to the UK where he can take up the cause of Muslims and those who wish to destroy the United Kingdom and other oppressive Western civilizations.  And enjoy, Mr Morgan, your prognosticated Orwellian 1984 at least a few more years before we Yanks will.

Firearms-free, of course.  Because average UK citizens cannot and never will be trusted with “bang-sticks” in their possession.  An actual Webley in the hand of Piers Morgan himself?  Think of the children!

A bit of sarcasm there, eh wot?

BZ

P.S.
I wonder from where the origins of the words Prole and Serf and Groundling source?  Perhaps you can tell me, Mr Morgan?

P.P.S.
Oh.  That’s right.  From British books and plays and history.  Imagine that.

Fornicalia seeks a replacement for the license plate — RFID chipping your car?

Big Brother B&WA Fornicalia government insider brought this to my attention, with some salient comments.  First, the confirmation that this is not a pie-in-the-sky idea.  From GCN.com (and please read the entire story):

California pilots electronic license plates — will other states follow?

California is piloting electronic license plates to improve efficiency,  lower the cost of DMV vehicle registration services and eliminate the need for vehicle owners, particularly fleet owners, to receive physical registration tags by mail, according to a bill analysis by California’s Senate Rules Committee.

The Assembly Appropriations Committee said it will cost less than $50,000 for the DMV to administer the pilot program and complete the evaluation report. However, the plates most likely will come at a cost for drivers, said David Findlay of Compliance Innovations,  an electronic license plate manufacturer. Findlay told Time magazine the plates could cost around $100, at least five times the price of a typical license plate fee.

The electronic plates would serve as alternatives to California’s traditional metal license plate, plastic-coated registration stickers and paper registration cards. California’s DMV annually registers approximately 26 million vehicles and performs over 10 million renewals.

Senate Bill 806, signed by California Gov. Jerry Brown in early October, calls for the pilot to be established by Jan. 1, 2017. The pilot will be limited to no more than 0.5 percent of registered vehicles and vehicle owners who have voluntarily chosen to participate.

And just what would an “electronic license plate” consist of?  I can only think of one thing: an RFID chip/tag.

RFID Railroad TagThe bulk use of RFID chips began in the railroad industry, with one purpose: to track the locations of railroad cars.

While the bill does not specifically state which devices will be tested, the bill analysis did mention a provider, Smart Plate Mobile, which was incorporated in 2009 and is based in San Francisco, as being “the company most interested in participating in such a pilot project.” Smart Plate Mobile’s plates are computer screens that would take on the size and appearance of a standard California license plate. Since the plates can receive wireless updates from a central server, they could also display additional messages such as “stolen” or “expired.”

Perfect.  Now the state would mandate that you possess a plate which displays EXPIRED if you happen to be either late with fees, or DMV (and this occurs frequently in Fornicalia) screws up your paperwork.

But not just STOLEN or EXPIRED — how about a venue for selling advertisements and making Fornicalia some more revenue, to be given away to more parasites?

A similar bill proposed in California in 2010 would have allowed advertisements to scroll on the screen if a car was stopped for more than three seconds, Ars reported. The ads were envisioned as an additional revenue source for the DMV. The current bill does not include provisions for advertising, the Sacramento Bee reported.

Now your vehicle would be a rolling billboard, and you would have NO CHOICE but to comply.

And just as the NSA has LIED and said it is not tracking your e-mails and cell phones, the state of Fornicalia SWEARS it would not track your vehicle’s movements.  Trust them.

Responding to concerns about tracking expressed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an amendment was added to California’s bill to limit the data exchanged “to that data necessary to display evidence of registration compliance. The department shall not receive or retain any information generated during the pilot program regarding the movement, location or use of a vehicle participating in the pilot program.”

So read this:

Still, Lee Tien, an attorney at Electronic Frontier Foundation, notes that while the DMV will not be receiving location information in the pilot, the company providing the plates would, and it would control what is on the plates, reported the Capitol Hill Daily.

And of course, if it’s digital, just like all your private information in ObamaKare, it can be hacked.

RFID chips are the wave of the future, in order to track and force compliance with whatever illegal and freedom-killing government mandate can be conjured.  I already wrote about RFID chips here:

This is a perfect way to track your vehicle, micromanage your life, know where you and your car are all the time, read your location, know your speed at all times, know your rate of acceleration, your rate of deceleration, the weight transfer involved in taking corners, and monitor your every possible vehicle code violation.

You could find yourself instantaneously fined by the government for an infraction and then, in that same instant, have your insurance rates raised or your policy canceled.

Paranoid, am I?

No, just utilizing what I call the Logical Extension.  When has government been able to do a thing, and not done it?  Because, after all, the government has proven itself trustworthy time and time again.

If for no other reason than “for the children.”

Welcome, Big Brother.

BZ

P.S.
And if it’s coming to Fornicalia, you can be assured that “Progressives” in your state are conjuring up the same thing.

In the near future: if you aren’t medically perfect, you’ll be killed

A shocking title for a post, is it not?

Because, of course, I’m writing only in terms of the most horribly-possible hyperbole, am I not?

Because, after all, following us individually like Big Brother’s Medical Official is so far out of human ken as to be unbelievable, is it not?

Big Brother B&WIt is not.

It is here, it is now, and it is beginning in the UK; home — oddly enough — of the original Big Brother from the mind of George Orwell (true name: Eric Arthur Blair via the novel Nineteen Eighty Four, published in 1949).

From the UK’s DailyMailOnline:

Big brother to log your drinking habits and waist size as GPs are forced to hand over confidential records

  • Data includes weight, cholesterol, BMI, family health history and pulse rate
  • Doctors will be forced to reveal alcohol consumption and smoking status
  • Privacy campaigners described it as ‘biggest data grab in NHS history’
  • Part of new Health Service programme called Everyone Counts
  • Officials insisted data will be anonymous and deleted after analysis

Question: what is ObamaKare except the NHS “writ large” for the United States?  ObamaKare likewise demands a massive central database into which your health information will be dumped with 314,000,000 others.

GPs are to be forced to hand over confidential records on all their patients’ drinking habits, waist sizes and illnesses.

The files will be stored in a giant information bank that privacy campaigners say represents the  ‘biggest data grab in NHS history’.

They warned the move would end patient confidentiality and hand personal information to third parties.

Officials insisted the personal information would be made anonymous and deleted after analysis.

Trust me: NOTHING is “deleted after analysis” when it involves the government or the private sector and MONEY or POWER can be derived from such information.

Because?

Information IS Power.

But Ross Anderson, professor of security engineering at Cambridge University, said: ‘Under these proposals, medical confidentiality is, in effect, dead and there is currently nobody standing in the way.’ Nick Pickles, of the privacy group Big Brother Watch, said NHS managers would now be in charge of our most confidential information.

He added: ‘It is unbelievable how little the public is being told about what is going on, while GPs are being strong-armed into handing over details about their patients and to not make a fuss.

‘Not only have the public not been told what is going on, none of us has been asked to give our permission for this to happen.’

The same is beginning to occur in the United States of America.

The land of the free; the home of the brave.  The nation that decided to declare its independence from Britain.

And as I reported here on BZ, US doctors will soon be Mandated Reporters about guns in your home, what you have, how you store them, and how said storage may affect the violence visited upon your family.  Which = your “overall health.”

Which is how the US government will manage to stick its camel nose into your family tent.  Security.  Safety.  “For the children.”

Because, importantly now, in the UK:

“Patients will not be able to opt out of the system.”

Imagine that.  The SYSTEM rules ALL.

I don’t believe that anyone objects if their medical records in, say, Kaiser, are digitized.  And if Patient A moves from Kaiser to Blue Shield, I suspect no one objects if their digitized medical records are transferred from Kaiser to Blue Shield.

I suspect that, however, clear thinking individuals will and should object if their digitized medical records are shared with any other entity including the United States Government, for any reason whatsoever.

Because I am forever reminded:

Govt Big EnuffIt is none of the government’s business what I drink, what I read, where I piss, what I eat, the color of my shit, my hat size, my BMI, how I drive, what I drive, how frequently I enjoy sex with my wife, the positions we favor, the houses I own, our fetishes, if I have seven nipples or a bunion on my right foot — UNTIL I DEMAND that the US government pay for the mitigation or funding of these things.

That was private business between my medical provider and myself, having deeply paid into my various medical plans for over forty years and not been subsidized by the federal government in any way, shape or form.

These were contracts between me and my local providers and my local agencies, where my privacy held primacy.  But no more.

The UK is primarily lost on any number of levels.  It consists of an unprecedented number of GOWPs (Guilty Overeducated White People) whose numbers are now dwindling, losing a national secular battle with the demographics of Islam, featuring an ancient infrastructure that will be sacrificed or disregarded if fiscally or politically expedient.

The government shall rule.  “Will” is permissive; “shall” is mandatory.

And, further, if the Human Genome becomes well and truly “broken,” you can rest assured that certain classes of people will become permanent underclasses the moment they are born — if they have not yet been aborted.

If for no other reason than fiscal governmental expediency.

Hence the title of my post, due to what I call the “logical extension”:

If you aren’t medically perfect in a few decades, you will be killed.

Our current secular trends indicate and mandate this.
