The fallacy of American recycling

There you go, like a diligent little prole, taking time to separate out your oil, your plastic, your rubber, your paper, your metal, your cans, your glass, placing them with care and love into the applicable bins in your recycling glee. You do the recycling dance. You wear recycled clothes. Hemp ain’t temp.

Like a puppy, you absolutely know it’s going to a good home.

Except that it really isn’t going anywhere. Not then. Not now.

From NPR.org:

Recycling Chaos In U.S. As China Bans ‘Foreign Waste’

by Cassandra Profita

Like many Portland residents, Satish and Arlene Palshikar are serious recyclers. Their house is coated with recycled bluish-white paint. They recycle their rainwater, compost their food waste and carefully separate the paper and plastic they toss out. But recently, after loading up their Prius and driving to a sorting facility, they got a shock.

Stop. You know me. You know I can’t resist. How typical is it that Leftists recycling in Oregon Leftist Central, Portlandia, have recycled paint on their house, recycled rainwater, possess a compost pile and thirty different recycling bins. They’re damned near a parody of themselves.

But when they all piled into their Toyota Prius — clearly one of the most damaging cars on the planet when it comes to toxic materials, danger posed to emergency responders and overall ground rape — I knew they were more (of course) naive little GOWPs.

A Prius damaging to the environment? From NCPA.org:

PRIUS OUTDOES HUMMER IN ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE

The Toyota Prius, the flagship car for the environmentally conscious, is the source of some of the worst pollution in North America, and takes more combined energy to produce than a Hummer, says the Recorder.

Consider:

  • The nickel contained in the Prius’ battery is mined and smelted at a plant in Ontario that has caused so much environmental damage to the surrounding environment that NASA has used the ‘dead zone’ around the plant to test moon rovers.
  • Dubbed the Superstack, the factory has spread sulfur dioxide across northern Ontario, becoming every environmentalist’s nightmare.
  • Acid rain around the area was so bad it destroyed all the plants and the soil slid down off the hillside, according to Canadian Greenpeace energy-coordinator David Martin.
  • After leaving the plant, the nickel travels to Europe, China, Japan and United States, a hardly environmentally sound round the world trip for a single battery.

But that isn’t even the worst part, says the Record. According to a study by CNW Marketing, the total combined energy to produce a Prius (consisting of electrical, fuel, transportation, materials and hundreds of other factors over the expected lifetime), is greater than what it takes to produce a Hummer:

  • The Prius costs an average of $3.25 per mile driven over a lifetime of 100,000 miles — the expected lifespan of the Hybrid.

  • The Hummer, on the other hand, costs a more fiscal $1.95 per mile to put on the road over an expected lifetime of 300,000 miles.

  • That means the Hummer will last three times longer than a Prius and use almost 50 percent less combined energy doing it.

From Wired.com:

Go Green — Buy a Used Car. It’s Better Than a Hybrid

Chuck Squatriglia

DITCHING YOUR GAS guzzler is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint, but if you really want to do something about global warming, get a used car. You’ll be putting less carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

As Matt Power notes in this month’s issue of Wired, hybrids get great gas mileage but it takes 113 million BTUs of energy to make a Toyota Prius. Because there are about 113,000 BTUs of energy in a gallon of gasoline, the Prius has consumed the equivalent of 1,000 gallons of gasoline before it reaches the showroom. Think of it as a carbon debt — one you won’t pay off until the Prius has turned over 46,000 miles or so.

There’s an easy way to avoid that debt — buy a used car. The debt has already been paid.

Earlier Prius models use NIMH batteries — nickel-metal hydride. You may choose now between NIMH and Lithium-Ion in 2017. Tesla is running off Lithium-Ion batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries just won’t store the amount of energy required to be as useful as Musk promises, says Milnes: “Personally I think the Tesla factory producing hundreds of thousands more lithium-ion batteries is really short sighted because those batteries are just never going to hold the amount of energy we need them to.”

But wait, there’s more.

But even as Tesla’s batteries promise to reduce tailpipe emissions, more direct environmental concerns surround the current boom in lithium-ion batteries. As hundreds of thousands more of these batteries hit the market, the problems that come with lithium mining, battery lifecycles and recycling loom large.

In a 2013 report, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for the Environment program concluded that batteries using nickel and cobalt, like lithium-ion batteries, have the “highest potential for environmental impacts”. It cited negative consequences like mining, global warming, environmental pollution and human health impacts.

You might want to consider this as well:

Effects of Mining Lithium

Even though you will not be individually mining the lithium used in your batteries, you should still be aware of the environmental concerns of this process. The U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) conducted a study on the materials and production of a lithium-ion battery. The study concluded that mining these chemicals can cause the following:

  • resource depletion
  • global warming
  • ecological toxicity (Kaiser, 2013)

Some chemicals used in lithium-ion battery production are very rare and exist in tiny quantities. Rare metals are mined in China by passing bags of dirt through several acid baths, leaving behind the rare materials. “Those rare earths amounted to 0.2 percent of what gets pull out of the ground. The other 99.8 percent-now contaminated with toxic chemicals-is dumped back into the environment” (Wade, 2016).  Overall, almost every stage of the lithium mining process can lead to harmful environmental effects.

California says it wants to ban all but electric vehicles by 2040. One teensy-weensy problem: California doesn’t want to build any electric generation stations. Oopsie. And not everyone with an electric car can move to Texas.

Back to the desecration. How odd. GM stopped manufacturing the Hummer brand in 2009. The Prius and all other hybrids are still raping and plundering the environment. Leftists and dupes happily buy them.

Back to the original story.

“The fellow said we don’t take plastic anymore,” Satish says. “It should go in the trash.”

The facility had been shipping its plastic to China, but suddenly that was no longer possible.

Whoa whoa whoa. Hold up on that car wash. Did I just see that our recycling materials aren’t being taken locally — much less the United States — but are instead being shipped to China? Do you know how much more toxicity that one act adds to the environment? The cost of diesel? The cost of shipping? The cost of storage and transportation? The cost of additional ships?

And “trash”? All that must now go “in the trash”? I’m sure the Palshikar family envisions months of therapy in order to quell those horrific visions.

Check this:

The U.S. exports about one-third of its recycling, and nearly half goes to China.

For decades, China has used recyclables from around the world to supply its manufacturing boom. But this summer it declared that this “foreign waste” includes too many other nonrecyclable materials that are “dirty,” even “hazardous.”

That’s rich. After China having shipped dog food to the US “fortified” with, well, dog-killing melamine. But what the hell. Just good filler.

In a filing with the World Trade Organization the country listed 24 kinds of solid wastes it would ban “to protect China’s environmental interests and people’s health.”

Beijing, China, 2016. On a good day. This is an actual photograph.

Right. Because China is so terribly concerned with pollution.

The complete ban takes effect Jan. 1, but already some Chinese importers have not had their licenses renewed. That is leaving U.S. recycling companies scrambling to adapt.

“It has no value … It’s garbage.”

Wait wait wait wait wait wait. That cannot be. This is Utopia. How could possibly have been overlooked?

Rogue Waste Systems in southern Oregon collects recycling from curbside bins, and manager Scott Fowler says there are always nonrecyclables mixed in. As mounds of goods are compressed into 1-ton bales, he points out some: a roll of linoleum, gas cans, a briefcase, a surprising number of knitted sweaters. Plus, there are the frozen food cartons and plastic bags that many people think are recyclable but are not.

Right. Average stuff people throw away. Wait. Are you saying.  .  .

For decades, China has sorted through all this and used the recycled goods to propel its manufacturing boom. Now it no longer wants to, so the materials sits here with no place to go.

“It just keeps coming and coming and coming,” says Rogue employee Laura Leebrick. In the warehouse, she is dwarfed by stacks of orphaned recycling bales. Outside, employee parking spaces have been taken over by compressed cubes of sour cream containers, broken wine bottles and junk mail.

Are you saying that the American Recycling Utopia is a falsehood?

And what are recyclables with nowhere to go?

“Right now, by definition, that material out there is garbage,” she says. “It has no value. There is no demand for it in the marketplace. It’s garbage.”

For now, Rogue Waste says it has no choice but to take all of this recycling to the local landfill. More than a dozen Oregon companies have asked regulators whether they can send recyclable materials to landfills, and that number may grow if they can’t find someplace else that wants them.

Again I say: wait. This makes no sense. Weren’t and didn’t the Leftists all along tell us that recycling will save us? And by dint of that, as good little proles ourselves, didn’t we think it was going somewhere — other than the general trash heap?

Seems it isn’t it all.

Or: it went to China. China? You mean to say the Leftists weren’t in full control of the recycling chain in the first place, from collection bin to final recycled product? They certainly made us think so.

This made me wonder, of course: is recycling even viable? Does it even work? Or is simply another Leftist myth hammered into the skulls of those susceptible to this mush and/or bulled by local agencies to do so?

From TheFederalist.com:

Why Recycling Is A Waste of Time

by Bre Payton

“People who recycle should be ashamed of themselves for acting like scavengers when so much is possible to them under capitalism.”

The secret is out: recycling isn’t working, because it was never really supposed to.

The Washington Post reported that more recycling companies, including Waste Management, are turning away from recycling, as the enterprise has ‘become’ totally unprofitable. They place the blame on the (well-meaning) masses who acted like apes when they were given larger recycling bins.

The article explains:

By pushing to increase recycling rates with bigger and bigger bins — while demanding almost no sorting by consumers — the recycling stream has become increasingly polluted and less valuable, imperiling the economics of the whole system. . . Residents have also begun experimenting, perhaps with good intentions, tossing into recycling bins almost anything rubber, metal or plastic: garden hoses, clothes hangers, shopping bags, shoes, Christmas lights. That was exactly the case last year, when the District replaced residents’ 32-gallon bins with ones that are 50 percent larger.

While many are throwing shade at those big glue bins, the truth is, much of consumer recycling has been a waste of time all along. The article goes onto explain that glass probably shouldn’t have ever been recycled. It’s heavy and breaks easily, contaminating the rest of the materials in the pile. Most of it has no value, and often costs money to haul away. The stuff that is valuable is “trucked to landfills as daily cover to bury the smell and trap gases.”

There are numerous other articles on the subject. I was amazed that most of them said: “meh.”

The people above are part of what I term the Religious Left, an insular group taking all their environmental beliefs on faith, unwilling to budge or compromise on facts, trends and statistics, brooking no disagreement with their views and by which those in disagreement must be met with all remedies ranging from belittling to outright violence. Disbelief makes one an apostate and a heretic — not unlike the Borg or Islam.

Now you know where your trash is really going. To the dump.

Blue bins, here we come!

Elbert Guillory talks about “white privilege”

Not what your Leftist friends expected from a black man.

Guillory talks about not only “privilege” but other aspects as well.

We ought to be ashamed of ourselves. We have let a few black and white people who want to divide us — who want to draw us apart — we’ve let them place the burden of slavery on every white person from the North, the South, the East, the West, male or female, old or young — people whose families have never owned slaves — never had anything to do with slavery. We have placed that yoke of slavery — that burden of slavery upon all of them. So much so that now just plain hardworking Americans feel a need to sometimes defend their whiteness.

This is America — free and filled with opportunity. That opportunity is available for each and every one of us.

Try it — American privilege!

Finally, let me state the unequivocal truth: Caucasoids are equally or “more offended” than those whose melanin counts are diametrically opposed to theirs.

Let that sink in for a microsecond or three.

Islam offered as an excuse for murder leniency here in the U.S.

Islamic baby killer, excused by Cook County prosecutors. “She’s just an ignorant Muslim.” Right? Who cares about the infant? Not Muslims.

“It can’t happen here.”

You said it wouldn’t come here, Leftists.

You insisted it wouldn’t be here, Leftists.

You’re wrong. It’s here already. The excuses for murders committed in the name of Islam. And worse: the murder of an infant excused under the convenience of Islam.

From the ChicagoSunTimes.com:

Probation for mom who dropped infant to death from 8th-floor window

by Jeff Mayes and Rummana Hussain

A woman who dropped her infant daughter to her death from an eighth-floor window in Uptown so her parents wouldn’t know she was pregnant has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to four years’ probation.

In and of itself, a social outrage. Are you kidding me?

Mubashra Uddin, who was 19 when she was charged with first-degree murder in 2015, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, according to Cook County state’s attorney’s office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.

On its face, a good decision. Prison time is necessary. In order to make an example and an impression.

But wait.

Judge Carol Howard sentenced Uddin to 48 months’ probation on Thursday and ordered her to pay a $579 fine. She was given credit for 603 days served in the Cook County Jail.

A baby’s life is worth precisely $579. That would be acceptable to me if only all Muslim lives were so devalued here in America, but that is not so. Fair is only fair.

Islam is now an official excuse for violence and murder in these United States. Thanks to Judge Carol Howard. She has, for one thing, a history of being anti-common sense. She also acquitted a man of animal torture. And Judge Howard condones this:

Assistant State’s Attorney Patrick Turnock said the infant had suffered skull fractures, a spinal fracture, broken left shoulder, fractured left and right ribs, and a lacerated aorta, as well as damage to other internal organs, prosecutors have said.

An autopsy found she died of multiple blunt force injuries and ruled her death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

But hey, no problemo, the mother is a Muslim, she has a ready excuse, yes?

Uddin gave birth to a 7-pound, 11-ounce girl in her bedroom while her 10-year-old sister slept in the same room, Turnock said.

Minutes later, Uddin heard her mother approaching the room, so she opened the window, held the baby out head first and released her, according to the prosecutor.

Head first.

The infant struck pavement at 48 mph from that height, head first, with 1,176 joules of energy at impact.

Well hell, after all, that’s what any and every woman would do when trapped, right?

Uddin received treatment for depression in Cook County Jail, according to Barry Sheppard.

And in the meantime her infant received treatment for?

Oh yeah.

A brutal eighth floor concrete impact.

No problem.

She’s a Muslim.

Ready excuse.

Nothing to see here.

Probation.

$579.

SCOTUS ruling on the First Amendment

Sadly, this slipped by me until now.

The US Supreme just recently released a terribly important opinion on a First Amendment case,

One that will and has upset and pissed off Leftists nationally and globally.

From the WashingtonPost.com:

Supreme Court unanimously reaffirms: There is no ‘hate speech’ exception to the First Amendment

by Eugene Volokh

From today’s opinion by Justice Samuel Alito (for four justices) in Matal v. Tam, the “Slants” case:

[The idea that the government may restrict] speech expressing ideas that offend … strikes at the heart of the First Amendment. Speech that demeans on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other similar ground is hateful; but the proudest boast of our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom to express “the thought that we hate.”

Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote separately, also for four justices, but on this point the opinions agreed:

A law found to discriminate based on viewpoint is an “egregious form of content discrimination,” which is “presumptively unconstitutional.” … A law that can be directed against speech found offensive to some portion of the public can be turned against minority and dissenting views to the detriment of all. The First Amendment does not entrust that power to the government’s benevolence. Instead, our reliance must be on the substantial safeguards of free and open discussion in a democratic society.

Yes. You read that right. This was a unanimous decision, 8 to 0 (Neil Gorsuch was not on the court when the case was argued). The US Supreme Court incontrovertibly and undeniably upheld our right to free speech. Even the Leftists.

How sad to think that I would — even for one moment — be concerned about this case, as clear to me as it appeared.

And the justices made clear that speech that some view as racially offensive is protected not just against outright prohibition but also against lesser restrictions. In Matal, the government refused to register “The Slants” as a band’s trademark, on the ground that the name might be seen as demeaning to Asian Americans. The government wasn’t trying to forbid the band from using the mark; it was just denying it certain protections that trademarks get against unauthorized use by third parties. But even in this sort of program, the court held, viewpoint discrimination — including against allegedly racially offensive viewpoints — is unconstitutional. And this no-viewpoint-discrimination principle has long been seen as applying to exclusion of speakers from universities, denial of tax exemptions to nonprofits, and much more.

In other words, speech that simply makes you “uncomfortable” and prompts you to head for your “safe space” is still protected speech in these United States of America, no matter what anyone happens to say or think on US college campuses.

I wonder, however, what would happen if I were to attempt to register “The Crackas” as my band’s trademark when it consisted of all Caucasoids?

Oh yes. This: not one fuck given or one shit proffered.

GOWPs. Guilty Overeducated White People.

Even Noam Chomsky believes in free speech, and on campuses.

My final comment: were you aware that the United States of America is one of the very, very few Western Civilization countries left that does not have a “hate speech” law guaranteeing prosecution of that vastly nebulous phrase?

Be thankful.

Be very, very thankful.

But be very, very mindful.

The bitter insanity of Kathy Griffin and female Leftists

“Bitter, table for three ancient womenses please.”

First, Kathy Griffin, who considers herself a “comedian,” thought it was absolutely uproarious to release the above photo by Tyler Shields (Shields considered the photo a, quote, “piece of art.”) this past Friday, June 2nd. Of course, just as she predicted, it was met with wave after wave of gut-busting laughter due to the brilliant comedic content. Clearly, her humor is sophisticated, polished, highbrow, well-informed, cosmopolitan, advanced and perfectly nuanced for that slight Leftist flair.

Nothing says “fun” like a good decapitation joke. Just ask ISIS.

Since then, however, there’s been just a bit of a kerfuffle involving her interpretation of comedy, to include the insertion of the United States Secret Service. Boy! No one could possibly have seen any of that coming, right?

Griffin apologized sans makeup on Saturday (going for the put-upon victim look so fashionable with Leftists today) when she realized the backlash was pretty much instantaneous and growing. As far as she was concerned, however, that was that. Nothing more to see here, move on. I’m a “comedian” after all.

Except that history, social media and a burgeoning negative response combined to provide its own little tsunami of backlash for Ms Kathy. One problem was that Barron Trump, President Donald Trump’s 11-year-old son, believed for a time his father truly was harmed when he was Griffin’s photo displayed on television. This event was later belittled by the Leftist lawyer Griffin had acquired for her scenario. Proper form. Belittle an 11-year-old in public media as a means of self-defense.

Of course, the internet tends to keep unsavory bits around in various closets longer than many would wish, including Kathy Griffin, whose mindset to this was already revealed back in December of 2016 to Vulture.com in which the headline read:

Kathy Griffin Thinks Comedy Should Go All Out on ‘President Piece of Shit’ Donald Trump

by Shira Levine

It’s a question a lot of comedians are asking themselves lately: What should comedy look like during the Trump presidency?

“It’s his turn. So I’m happy to deliver beat down to Donald Trump — and also to Barron. You know a lot of comics are going to go hard for Donald, my edge is that I’ll go direct for Barron. I’m going to get in ahead of the game.”

Now that’s an interview and some copy the likes of which you can be beamingly-proud.

But wait. Then came the second media gaggle in which Kathy Griffin, ensconced once again in Orchidée Impériale cake makeup and hot asphalt street sealer, in a rambling, self-serving and sometimes incoherent presser eschewed most every minuscule bit of responsibility whatsoever, laying the blame squarely and rightly upon the scary and oppressive shoulders of Donald and Barron Trump.

With her attorney, of course. And with a backdrop touting her attorney, of course. Because that’s what you do when you want to apologize and get things straight, is bring your attorney, Lisa Bloom, who is the daughter of Gloria Allred. Message received.

Then you double-down on “it’s not my fault, I’m not responsible.”

The full-court-press Leftist Insanity Tour press conference is below. Watch it if you dare.

I include this only to display the nakedly unhinged lengths to which Leftists will travel in order to find fault with everyone but themselves. Rivulets of tears, Kathy? Uh, no. Not even one damned good tear. We have an axiom in the cop trade and, as I said when interviewing suspects: you don’t get through unless you acquire actual tears and snot.

Sorry. Don’t see your tears much less your snot. You’re as believable as a time-share salesman. Or any one of today’s reporters.

The UKDailyMail.com wrote:

‘There’s a bunch of old white guys trying to silence me!’ Kathy Griffin breaks down in tears claiming Trump family ruined her life – as her lawyer scoffs at report Barron was upset over severed head video

by Chris Spargo

  • Kathy Griffin broke down in tears speaking about the constant attacks from the public and members of the Trump family over the past few days
  • She said that she has been receiving constant death threats, which she described as detailed and specific
  • Griffin, 56, also said that President Trump ‘broke’ her and that she does not expect her career to recover from his family’s attacks
  • She added that she will not back down from this fight, saying: ‘I am not afraid of Donald Trump. He is a bully’
  • Griffin said that the photo shoot was inspired by Megyn Kelly, and the comment Trump made to the then-Fox News host about ‘blood coming out of everywhere’
  • It was also confirmed at the press conference that the Secret Service is investigating Griffin over the image

Later in the interview Griffin said that her career was likely over now as a result of this incident, and that President Trump had ‘broke’ her, moments after she declared: ‘There’s a bunch of old white guys trying to silence me!’

Griffin, 56, declared at one point that this would not be happening to her if she was a ‘white man.’

There we go. We knew we’d finally get there. It’s the White Man’s Burden to carry. She is not responsible. Everyone else is. It’s Caucasoids. Except that. Ahem. She is a Caucasoid. And amongst the palest of the pale. Caspar. Milquetoast. Becky. Ginger. She’s likely a Mud Shark as well.

Let’s see. How many Caucasoids have held up what can only be interpreted as the severed head of ANY President of the United States

Uh, yeah. Ahem. Zero.

Presidential children are also under the gunsights of Leftists. Bloom agrees.

Her lawyer Lisa Bloom also suggested during the press conference that despite reports, Barron was likely not that upset after seeing the image of Griffin with the decapitated head by stating the child was ‘allegedly’ traumatized.

‘We don’t know that. You’re assuming that everything that Trump says is true, and in fact, we know that everything Trump says is false,’ said Bloom.

Of course. It’s all Barron’s fault anyway.

After making a few jokes and stating that she stands by the apology she released earlier this week, Griffin said: ‘The president and his grown children and the first lady are personally trying to ruin my life forever.’

So I suppose because the president and/or his family responded to the event itself on social media, those acts are forbidden? They are proscribed?

Griffin also tried to explain the reason behind the photo and video shoot by saying: ‘I am not good at being appropriate.’

I’m massively ugly, but I’m not even in another galaxy this emaciatingly ugly. KG needs an immediate steak, some slabs of bacon and a few McDonald’s shakes. I know cockroaches or mealworms with greater appetites. “Clavicles & Wattled Necks R Us.” Just ask Nancy Pelosi and Hillary.

I’m not for everybody,. I am barely an acquired taste frankly,’ admitted Griffin.

‘I’ve had everybody turn on me. And I just want to make people laugh.’

That being said, Griffin declared: ‘I am not laying down for this guy.’

The comedian did not however say anything about her relationship with President Trump, who she has known for 20 years.

Then, no shock.

At a rambling press conference Friday, Griffin tearfully predicted her career is over and said Trump “broke me.” Since the video was posted Tuesday, she has lost her job co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve special and had all her upcoming comedy shows cancelled. Trump, first lady Melania Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have publicly criticized the video.

Let the Leftist Pity Party commence.

Apparently President Trump’s children are subject to beat-downs and ridicule by every Leftist female, not just Kathy Griffin, as Nancy Pelosi said this about the Trump family and grandchildren.

The only inference, I suppose, is that instead of breathing air like most humans, Trump’s eight grandchildren inhale brimstone from the fiery depths of Hell. What else can one conclude from this insane and despicable statement? I wonder: would she have had the temerity to say this of Barack Obama or Bill Clinton? You know the answer.

But wait; there’s more.

Let us not forget that even after seven months Hillary Clinton cannot come to terms with her staggering presidential loss and continues to bleat that it’s everyone’s fault but her own, to include misogynistic womenses, tidal pull and sunspots.

And oh, yes, the DNC was to blame for insufficient support — otherwise translated as AYFKM, or, Are You Fucking Kidding Me? The DNC purposely hosed Bernie Sanders in favor of Hillary Clinton to the point where it is being sued by Sanders supporters.

Led Zeppelin had the perfect tonal solution for her current plight as you can joyously hear in their 1976 song from the album “Presence.”

Because, in fact, it was all nobody’s fault but hers. (A shameless excuse to listen to a great band whilst you read the rest of the post.)

By the way, want some of the bitter truth about Hillary Clinton? Here is one of the women Bill Clinton took abed whilst married to Hillary, Sally Miller.

Let’s see: Kathy Griffin. Nancy Pelosi. Hillary Clinton. This does not yield the Ultimate Responsibility Female Crew for 2017.

Let’s remember folks, if you’re a Leftist, you’re nothing unless you possess some massive and important form of victimhood.

It’s a ruse, folks, it’s all a ruse to get you to bite the hook willingly and, whilst hooked, let loose with all your cash and then, further, make you feel guilty about having been hooked in the first place and then not having willingly surrendered your life sufficiently early.

But now, every photo, video, comment or story can be chalked up to comedy, right, and must be excused in the name of comedy, right?

Just ask Kathy Griffin.
