Hillary: put her in handcuffs now

US-POLITICS-CLINTONIs this a face that resonates with Millennials and teen voters?

Hillary is a serial liar, and has been lying for years.  I believe she truly lacks the capability to tell the truth, even when it would tend to save her.

But it’s too convoluted now.  And it’s way too late to save her, or even remotely think about saving her.  She is beyond saving just as she is beyond telling the truth.  The truth is, first, relative, and it is — as she would tell you — in the eye of the beholder.  There is no Real Truth, there are only shades of the truth and the precipice of the truth.  The truth is a concept to be wrapped and folded and cloaked and hidden away, aided and abetted by the Leftists populating today’s general American Media Maggot newsroom which is, by the way, bleeding readers and viewers.  [As an aside: gee, I wonder why?]

With that preface, take it away Trey Gowdy:

Trey Gowdy: Hillary Clinton wiped her server clean

by Lauren French

Hillary Clinton wiped “clean” the private server housing emails from her tenure as secretary of state, the chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi said Friday.

“While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, said in a statement.

But does no one read the next two paragraphs?

Clinton was under a subpoena order from the panel for all documents related to the 2012 attacks on the American compound there. But David Kendall, an attorney for Clinton, said the 900 pages of emails previously provided to the panel cover its request.

Kendall also informed the committee that Clinton’s emails from her time at the State Department have been permanently erased.

PERMANENTLY ERASED.

In law enforcement, this is called an “admission.”  An admission is the first step towards a confession.

The only thing left to be done, in truth, is for Hillary Clinton to be “perp-walked” in front of a bevy of ENG hacks adrip with stark lights and the AMM jostling and bumping and shouting at Hillary.

Wouldn’t that be just grand?

Four-letter words: Cuba and Sony

Obama CubaProving that Leftists are Defeatists.

First, Cuba:

What did Mr Obama acquire from his move?  What did he negotiate?  What did he — usget from the negotiation?  Was it even a “negotiation” or was it simple capitulation?  I submit Mr Obama’s move was nothing more than outright capitulation to the Cuban regime.  This is nothing more than a reward to Cuba, with zero expected in return.  Cuba arrested over 8,000 “political prisoners” just this year.  Cuban-Americans are disgusted.  Obama has extended political legitimacy to this dictatorship.  This is a 55-year-old policy overturned.  Obama’s transcript is here.

“Let us leave behind the legacy of both colonization and communism, the tyranny of drug cartels, dictators and sham elections,” Obama said.  As he equates Communism with what he perceives as US colonial power — a thing he must defeat at all costs.

What gets rewarded gets repeated.  And those who cannot remember history are doomed to repeat it.  It would appear time and again that Mr Obama has total Historical Alzheimers.  Because here is what will happen:

History will repeat itself.  Vladimir Putin, a power broker/seeker of the Nth degree who would love nothing more than to re-create the USSR, has just been provided with a perfect pathway right back into Cuba, a mere 90 miles from the United States.  A Putin whose strength has been partly broken because of the plummet of petroleum power (and whose petroleum power he held over the vast lands of the European Union).  A Putin who, when threatened, will look to the past and see Nikita Khrushchev.  And will be consoled by same when he determines to repeat that past by sending Russian troops to Cuba, welcomed by Raul Castro.

This Obama move did nothing for the people of Cuba.  They will wake up tomorrow still ensconced in a Communist regime with no more freedoms than the prior day.  Americans throughout the globe are no safer; in fact, they are less safe.

Finally, what happens to Guantanamo?  Is this a roundabout way to get Guantanamo finally shuttered by the eradication of the contract?  Was this the point?

Obama, thy name is Chamberlain.  Crouching Obama and Paper Tiger.

Second, Sony:

Rob Lowe TweetSony has likewise submitted and yielded to cyber-terrorism.  This is Spineless Hollywood in the face of a threat clearly on behalf of North Korea and no other. According to Variety, Sony has “no further release plans for The Interview.”  No DVDs, no video-on-demand.  Completely scrapped.  Dead.  Fini.  Roll over, doggie.

Sony, the institution, the entire film industry, just completely collapsed, encouraging others in the future.  “Look what North Korea just got away with.”  This is damned near an act of war against the United States of America.  And yet met with defeatism.

What gets rewarded gets repeated.

Does this get the Taliban and ISIS thinking: “all we have to do is threaten movie theaters or malls and America?”  That would, I submit, be a Logical Extension of Sony’s action.

In the face of that, however, a Texas theater decides to show “Team America” in place of “The Interview.”  Bully!

Mr Obama weighed in on Cuba.  What is his position on cyber-terrorism against America?  Why is Obama conspicuously silent on the issue?  Why does he refuse to recognize that America was attacked digitally?  What is his reticence?  Why is he hesitant?

Hollywood, thy name is Chamberlain.

Obama Philosophy

Hillary Clinton: we must “empathize” with our enemies

Clinton Empathize With Our EnemiesOf course.  We all want Kim Jung Il, Raul Castro, Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani, Bashar al-Assad, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and Xi Jinping to sleep like babies at night, comforted in the knowledge that we care about their feelings.

From the WashingtonTimes.com:

Hillary Clinton hammered for insisting U.S. should ‘empathize’ with enemies

by David Sherfinski

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is getting pushback for saying this week that smart foreign policy should include empathizing with one’s enemies.

Mrs. Clinton spoke at Georgetown University about what she called “smart power,” which entails “using every possible tool and partner to advance peace and security, leaving no one on the sidelines, showing respect, even for one’s enemies, trying to understand and insofar as psychologically possible, empathize with their perspective and point of view, helping to define the problems, determine the solutions.”

I don’t believe, however, that Clinton anticipated pushback from a female Demorat, however:

From the WashingtonFreeBeacon.com:

Hillary Clinton Backer Jane Harman Questions Her Suggestion We ‘Empathize’ With Our ‘Enemies’

Long-time Hillary Clinton supporter, former Rep. Jane Harman (D., Calif.) tore apart Clinton’s claim that the U.S. needs to “respect” and “empathize with” its enemies.

Harman said she did not know what Clinton meant by “enemies” in her controversial statement.

“I take issue with the word ‘enemies,’” Harman told Fox’s Chris Wallace on Sunday. “I think we have to respect people with different points of view in order to win the argument with them. I don’t exactly know what she was saying.”

Harman, who has thrown her support behind a 2016 Clinton candidacy, said the U.S. does not have to “respect” terrorists ever.

“I don’t think we have to respect members of terror groups ever,” Harman said. “I think we have to have harsh policies against them.”

Please notice, however, Harman parses her words carefully.  She didn’t object solely to the word “empathize.”  She objected to the word “enemies” principally.  As in: it is harsh and judgmental to call any other nation an “enemy” of the United States.

Words matter.  Again, as in: we losing the ability to even identify our enemies.

Poll: More Than Half of Russians Want the Soviet Union Back

Russia PollFrom DefenseOne.com:

The US polling company Pew Research Center has just released a survey of Russian and Ukrainian attitudes to what’s going on in eastern Ukraine, and one fact caught our eye: 55% of Russian adults think it’s a “great misfortune” that the Soviet Union no longer exists.

One very interesting and salient point from the article, however:

Of Russians under 30—who would have been at most seven years old in 1991—some 40% lamented the USSR’s demise, Pew found. Again, looking at the population data, which show some 27 million people born between 1984 and 1996, that means about 10 million Russian adults long for the restoration of a country and political system of which they have no meaningful personal memory.

Vladimir Putin is more than happy to attempt to comply with that Russian wish.

WW III stemming from Ukraine?

Moldova Ukraine MapFrom the UKDailyMail.com:

EDWARD LUCAS: I hope I’m wrong but historians may look back and say this was the start of World War III

by Edward Lucas

Deep in the flat and featureless landscape of eastern Ukraine, it is all too possible that the outline of World War III is taking shape.

Whipped up by the Kremlin propaganda machine and led by Russian military intelligence, armed men are erecting road blocks, storming police stations and ripping down the country’s flag.

They are demolishing not just their own country — bankrupt, ill-run and beleaguered — but also the post-war order that has kept most of Europe and us, here in Britain, safe and free for decades.
Vladimir Putin is striking at the heart of the West.

His target is our inability to work with allies in defence against common threats. The profoundly depressing fact is that the events of the past few months, as Russia has annexed the Crimea and suppressed opposition in Ukraine, have shown the West to be divided, humiliated and powerless in the face of these land grabs.

We are soon to face a bleak choice. We can chose to surrender any responsibility we have to protect Ukraine and the Baltic states — almost certainly Putin’s next target — from further Russian incursion. Or we can mount a last-ditch attempt to deter Russia from furthering its imperial ambitions.

And just what would that entail?  Precisely?

If we do choose to resist Putin, we will risk a terrifying military escalation, which I do not think it an exaggeration to say could bring us to the brink of nuclear war.

Putin knows that. And he believes we will choose surrender. For the real story of recent events in Ukraine is not about whether that country has a free-trade deal with Brussels or gets its gas from Moscow.

What’s next?

Moldova, I submit.
