John Cleese skewers Auntie Beeb, the UK and Emily Maitlis

Further, John Cleese is leaving the UK and heading for the Caribbean. He’s fed up with the United Kingdom and doesn’t mind saying so.

Interviewer Emily Maitlis tried to convince Mr Cleese that the BBC conducts “robust news reporting” — “come on Maitlis, pull yourself together” — but, well, it would appear that the trust level of the UK media as compared to the rest of the EU countries is dead last out of 33. Turkey beats the UK for trusted media. Cleese objects to what he terms the “lying and the triviality.” In essence: Fake News.

“Least trusted does not necessarily mean not true,” Maitlis countered.

Cleese also pointed out something amazing: Monty Python is more popular in the US than it is in England. Cleese suggests that is because Python would overshadow what passes for current “comedy” in the UK which is, uh, no comedy. Thanks, PC Leftists.

Cue Jerry Seinfeld and the PC Police in the United States.

The sad state of affairs that Cleese admitted? In all of 2018 he’s only been in the UK for two weeks.

I find myself, essentially, in the camp of John Cleese these days. We are older, well off, and don’t mind saying what we’ve been thinking and holding back for years because, frankly, we are at the point in our lives where we couldn’t care less what anyone thinks of us. I’m not here to impress people any more. People are here to impress me.

Truly, that is quite liberating.

Live long enough to try it.

BZ’s Berserk Bobcat Saloon, “The Aftermath,” Thursday, May 4th, 2017

My thanks to the SHR Media Network for allowing me to broadcast in their studio and over their air twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as appear on the Sack Heads Radio Show™ each Wednesday evening.

This was BZ’s third night running the new SHR laptop, bristling as it does with a full 16 gigs of buttery RAM goodness and a nice sound card. Once again, like Tuesday, BZ discovered that Windows 10 wanted to update right in the middle of the show. Uh, no. Learned that lesson.

Tonight in the Saloon we discussed:

  • “I know a dead parrot when I see one, and I’m looking at one right now”;
  • Happy Stories: CNN’s Wolf Blitzer shuts down Diane Feinstein when he doesn’t get the answer he wants from her;
  • Senator Ted Cruz chats with former temp AG Sally Yates, fired by Trump;
  • 8 USC 1182: it exists, get over it;
  • Thousands flee Cook County because of Chicago violence;
  • I was vastly wrong: NYPD has 34,000 officers, not 24,000;
  • Pat Dollard was busy; we’re hoping for another appearance shortly;
  • Obama says: you need to eat a bug;
  • What is “anthropogenic”?
  • Scientists: you need to eat insects to stop “global warming”;
  • Memorial Day represents nothing but US oppression around the globe;
  • Obama’s rampant hypocrisy: $400,000 speeches & $3.26 million dollar cash grab;
  • Obama’s private jet and 14-vehicle convoy to Milan’s Globalist Food Control meet;
  • I tell you about the Religious Left: it takes faith to believe in global warming;
  • Al Gore only wants $15 trillion dollars from every nation and tax payer;
  • Elizabeth “Fauxcahontas” Warren thinks Obama might be just a bit hypocritical;
  • Bernie Sanders thinks Obama might be just a bit hypocritical;
  • Bill Maher thinks Obama might be just a bit hypocritical;
  • The sky began falling this past Tuesday;
  • An in-depth analysis of the firing of James Comey by President Donald Trump.

Kari Baxter Donovan happens to be the East Coast Political Goddess or, as White Mambas suggested in chat, the ECPG.

  • UK confirms: GCHQ assisted Obama; Judge Andrew Napolitano was correct;
  • Muslims at MN free food bank demand Halal free food; they have rights, you know;
  • UK Muslims ask Christians: “are you jealous that we’re taking over?”

Listen to “BZ’s Berserk Bobcat Saloon, “The Aftermath,” Thursday, April 13th, 2017″ on Spreaker.

Kari Baxter Donovan is the East Coast Political Goddess, an American Patriot who is well versed on the Constitution, and an actual conservative Republican. A supporter of our Military and Veterans, she cherishes family and believes in American Exceptionalism. Kari is the epitome of what it means to be an American, no hyphens involved.  She readily admits to being a Steve Bannon Fan Girl. Wait, sorry: devotee. Enchantress?

Please join me, the Bloviating Zeppelin (on Twitter @BZep and on Gab.ai @BZep), every Tuesday and Thursday night on the SHR Media Network from 11 PM to 1 AM Eastern and 8 PM to 10 PM Pacific, at the Berserk Bobcat Saloon — where the speech is free but the drinks are not.

As ever, thank you so kindly for listening, commenting, and interacting in the chat room or listening via podcast.

Please stay tuned because, next week, we have Jersey Joe, the Reaver of Common Sense on Tuesday the 18th, and White Mamba, the Official Attorney of the Berserk Bobcat Saloon, on Thursday the 21st.

I am still a techno sound neophyte. Trust me. I’m working on it.
