Obama keeps the US safe with sarcasm and MORE refugees

Obama DANGEROUS to AmericaI wrote on Friday about Mr Obama’s plan to fight ISIS: words.  Sarcasm.  “You are not strong.  You are weak.”  There.  Mission accomplished.  ISIS fleeing in terror.

But wait, there’s more.

Obama plans to keep America safe by battling ISIS with words, AND he plans on importing more “refugees” into the United States.

That Mr Obama, what a courageous man.

He made the announcement on Easter.  Good timing.

From the WashingtonExaminer.com:

Obama reiterates refugee promise

by Nicole Duran

In a brief Easter weekend radio address, President Obama vowed to decimate the self-proclaimed Islamic State, but he said the United States will do so by offering an example of freedom, tolerance and open society.

“Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence; our determination to win the battle against ISIL’s hateful and violent propaganda — a distorted view of Islam that aims to radicalize young Muslims to their cause,” are paramount in the fight, Obama told Americans during his weekly radio address.

Admitting entry to Syrian and Iraqi refugees has become a divisive issue in the U.S. as well as Europe, but Obama made clear he has no plan to back off his promise to admit 100,000 to the U.S. this year.

Let me emphasize: Obama said he will “promise to admit 100,000 to the US this year.”

Please see the graphic below which delineates where these refugees will be placed.

Syrian Refugees to USMy stance is this: no refugees to the US.  No children.  No women.  No men.  No families.  But particularly no children.  The children and all refugees need to stay in their country of origin with family.

Why?  This is our country.  It belongs to us and no one else.  We have sovereignty and we get to keep it.  We are the determinants of who will or will not enter our country.  We get to ensure the sovereignty and safety of our citizens.  It’s a duty.  It is the duty of our federal government to keep its citizens safe.  That is its highest priority.

The United States cannot be the recipient of the world’s human outcasts and refuse and hope to continue.  Germany is already making this discovery and Merkel, by her insane decision to allow “refugees” to storm their border unimpeded, has placed her entire country in jeopardy.  In jeopardy of not just never looking or being Germany again, but in jeopardy of placing itself into November of 1923 all over again.

Whatever occurs in Germany from this point on can and is directly attributable to Merkel’s decision to flood the nation with persons who seem to have little if any interest in assimilation.

Assimilation in the culture, immersion in the language, participating in the host country’s customs — those are the least of the things you as an immigrant owe your new nation.

These things are primarily not occurring in Europe, with terrible consequences the result.

Pundits in the US brag that the major difference between Europe and the US is the assimilation that does occur here.  I should care to point out, however, that participating in American culture is occurring with greater infrequency if for no other reason that not only don’t we, for example, encourage the learning of English but, many times, we discourage it and enable immigrants to hold to their own.  We do this out of GOWP political correctness.

Two massive reasons for what I would argue as a major necessary clamp on immigration — which I wholeheartedly advocate — are the issues of employment and budget.

The bulk of persons immigrating to the US bring no inherent skills with them.  Most are unskilled individuals from poor environments and backgrounds where the aptitudes required for our future of our nation are not possessed.

Our nation will have a sufficiently difficult time ensuring our own lawful citizens can transform into the New Work Paradigm — much less having to take in persons whose background and capabilities fall behind those of our own.

The demand for a $15 an hour “living wage” (along with technology itself) is driving the push for jobs requiring menial skills to be automated.  Those persons thinking that clicking the CHEESEBURGER icon at McDonald’s will guarantee them anything more than a few extra fries per shift are deluding themselves.

Those jobs that can be automated will.  Persons who lack skills or, for any number of varied reasons, are unemployable will find themselves unemployed.  And many of today’s Americans are completely unemployable, unable to cope with the most minimal amount of discipline or diligence.

Add to that the vast potential amounts of refugees who bring nothing to the employment or culture table, and you have a recipe for another Europe in the midst of America.

Those persons who lack skills or are unemployable will then, of course, demand and apply for various forms of largesse.  The pool of those paying taxes will diminish to the point of a National Crash.  We are not far from that point already, with our own coddled bits of human flotsam and jetsam.

We can’t afford the human cost, and we can’t afford the fiscal cost.

Guns are not the greatest danger to America, nor is “global warming” according to the Religious Left.

The greatest danger to America is Barack Hussein Obama.

Or any Demorat successor.

Europe rethinks guns

Gun Control European StyleThis is the sound of BZ slapping his forehead.

Gosh.  I wonder why?

From TheNewAmerican.com:

In Response to Massive Influx of Refugees, Europeans Seek More Guns

by Warren Mass

As The New American has reported in multiple articles, European nations are frantically trying to accommodate the thousands of immigrants fleeing to Europe from the ongoing civil war in Syria. This massive influx, which has been described as an “invasion,” has prompted many Europeans to arm themselves, fearful that the migrants will cause a rise in violent crime, according to a report published by WorldNetDaily (WND) on October 26.

However, notes the report, citing Czech and Austrian sources, obtaining a firearm in Europe can be difficult to nearly impossible, depending on gun laws in each individual country. A Czech television reporter spoke mostly about the situation in neighboring Austria, which is in the main path of migrants traveling from Greece to their most popular destination — Germany.

I’m sorry, but I have to readily admit that my first thought was: oh boo-hoo.  Europeans are rethinking gun control?  A tad late perhaps?

“I’m disarmed.  How do I keep me and my family safe, considering my ______ government appears to be disinterested in defending me from the invading Muslim hordes?”

And yes, they are invading Muslim hordes.  They’re certainly not Buddhist hordes.  You’re stewing, Europe, in the Leftist mess you created.  You can’t get guns now that you actually need them to defend your families?

Live with it.

The Czech reporter stated that long guns such as shotguns and rifles have been selling out in Austria, and those who haven’t already purchased one may not have an opportunity to obtain one for some time. “If anyone wants to buy a long gun in Austria right now, too bad for them,” noted the Czech newscaster. “All of them are currently sold out.”

Funny thing is, guns are selling like hotcakes in the United States as well this year — the exact opposite intention of the Obama Administration.  Even better, gun and ammunition purchases have “skyrocketed” in Fornicalia — particularly since Fornicalia Lt Governmor Gavin Newsom has said he’s going to put a measure on the ballot to enact even stricter gun regulations, also mandating background checks before you can purchase a single box of ammunition.

Great idea!  Let’s make criminals out of citizens and leave the real criminals themselves entirely unaffected — by letting them out of jails and prisons, minimizing property crimes (by increasing the value of a stolen item before the crime constitutes a felony) and sending drug users and dealers to rehab instead of putting them in jail.  AB 109, “realignment,” is already working like a charm (not), as is Proposition 47.  Meaning: the criminals are doing very well in Fornicalia, and property crimes are likewise blossoming.  Heroin users aren’t stupid, after all, just drugged.  They know they can steal more items before they’re charged with a felony and actually have to enter the system.

(As an aside: the effect of AB109In Los Angeles, because of the court and jail conditions associated with overcrowding, AB 109 inmates were serving anywhere from 20 percent of their sentence — after half-time was deducted. For the most serious and repeat offenders the percentage of time served peaked at around 40 percent of a sentence for the most serious offenses.  The results of both AB 109 and Prop 47?  The outcome “is criminals serving very short sentences and threatening public safety.”)

But wait until you read this:

I just returned from a gun rights meeting in Belgium, and I can attest that all over Europe people now want the means to defend themselves. Self-defense is no longer a dirty word. In countries like Austria, where it is still legal to own a firearm, gun sales are at record levels. I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.

Yes, let’s repeat that last sentence for the brain-addled and ill-educated Leftists amongst us here (I know you’re there, I get your comments and emails):

“I can tell you first-hand that people in Europe now wish they had a Second Amendment.”

Socialists and Euro-Cheesers wishing for their own Second Amendment?

Even more astonishing:

Going back to the fears generated among Europeans by the large numbers of refugees from the Middle East, it appears that such fears are well grounded. The U.K.’s Daily Mail reported last May: “Islamic State terrorists who are hell-bent on committing atrocities in Britain are being smuggled into Europe by posing as refugees trying to cross the Mediterranean.”

Those “fears are well grounded.”  Muslim terrorists posing as “refugees.”  Oh no!  Muslims wouldn’t stoop to something as bad as that, would they?  Could they?

Listen up, American Leftists:

The Daily Mail cited as its source a Libyan security advisor, Abdul Basit Haroun, who used to live in Britain. Haroun said during a BBC Radio 5 Live Investigates program:

[Terrorists] use the boats for their people who they want to send to Europe as the European police don’t know who is from IS and who is a normal refugee. The boat owners have a list of who to take but some people come suddenly and they’re told, “Take them with you.”…

They are for IS — 100 per cent.

Which is why I say again and continue to say: keep Syrian and all other Muslim “refugees” out of the United States of America.  ISIS has already infiltrated via our southern border.  There are ISIS elements present in the US.  My federal LE sources tell me so.

I say: let Europe, who so eschewed firearms and pointed their fingers at US “gun nuts,” stew in the juices of their own making and lack of foresight.

ISIS torches Iranian oil refinery

And, by doing that, effects Iranian oil supplies by one third, domestically.

ISIS is determined to impact world oil markets, and it certainly has the capability to do so.  It already set fire to the Baiji refinery north of Baghdad.

From PRI.org:

ISIS fighters and pro-goverment forces battled for a year over control of the oil refinery at Baiji, Iraq’s largest. The plant was crippled but intact, and would have been a key asset for whomever came to control all of the refinery and the pipelines in and out of it. This weekend, ISIS forces, which had controlled much of the facility since April, suddenly retreated. And torched the place on their way out.

This is but one refinery within influence of ISIS.

When the Baiji refinery was operational, it processed more than 200,000 barrels per day of crude, “which,” says van Heuvelen, “amounted to more than one-third of Iraq’s total domestic fuel production.” Iraqi authorities took the facility offline in June 2014 when ISIS forces first seized great swaths of northern Iraq, including oil fields and pipelines critical to the Baiji operation. With ISIS essentially surrounding the refinery, the pro-government forces had to struggle to keep fighters out.

“Now,” says van Heuvelen, “the refinery is probably unusable for several years, if ever again.” Iraqi officials might have seen this coming.

“Might have seen this coming.”  The telling paragraph, then:

“They definitely planned poorly,” van Heuvelen observes. “One problem is that they did not devote nearly enough troops to guarding one of the most critical pieces of infrastructure in the country. Another problem is when they realized that ISIS was launching this overwhelming attack on the refinery, they responded without any coherent strategy. So they sent in reinforcements without securing the supply routes between the refinery and the territory that the Iraqi government controlled. As a result, those reinforcements essentially walked into an ambush, and many of them got killed.”

“Without any coherent strategy.”  Correct.  I see no coherence (much less strategy) applied by Mr Obama to ISIS.  The Middle Eastern region, you see, holds sway to roughly 60% of the world’s working oil reserves — and therein lies the problem.

ISIS seems to be cutting a wide swath through much of the Middle East with some bit of impunity — despite their being the “jay-vee” team.  To refresh about Mr Obama’s quote:

“The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant,” Obama told Remnick. “I think there is a distinction between the capacity and reach of a bin Laden and a network that is actively planning major terrorist plots against the homeland versus jihadists who are engaged in various local power struggles and disputes, often sectarian.”

Perchance Mr Obama will take ISIS seriously when it not just attacks but holds serious refinery capability, production and storage at not just one but a number of ME facilities.

For “sectarians” who are “engaged in various local power struggles,” ISIS doesn’t seem to be very local or very limited.  A reminder: ISIS is also using heavy American military equipment left behind and captured as it cuts its way through Syria and now Iraq.

I would remind Mr Obama of his phrase “energy independence.”  That would also include, sir, the untapped resources — which have been discovered to be quite vast — under the feet of Americans currently.

Jordan does as promised

From YahooNews.com:

Jordan hangs two Iraqi militants in response to pilot’s death

AMMAN (Reuters) – Jordan hanged two Iraqi jihadists, one a woman, on Wednesday in response to an Islamic State video showing a captured Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage by the hard-line group.

Islamic State had demanded the release of the woman, Sajida al-Rishawi, in exchange for a Japanese hostage whom it later beheaded. Sentenced to death for her role in a 2005 suicide bomb attack in Amman, Rishawi was executed at dawn, a security source and state television said.

Just as I indicated yesterday, Jordan wasted no time in responding to the released ISIS video showing captured Jordanian pilot Mouath al-Kasaesbeh literally set on fire in a metal cage and burned alive.

It would appear that Jordan’s King Abdullah, unlike Mr Obama, can not only name Islamic terror, but can do something about it.

Let THIS sink in about ISIS:

ISIS Stolen American Equipment

[ISIS with captured American equipment.]

From the NYDailyNews.com:

ISIS will be in position to get nuclear weapons if allowed to consolidate power, resources, says expert

by Joseph Cirincione

The jihadists terrorizing the Middle East have seized billions in assets through stolen banks and oil fields. If left unchecked and allowed to make the right connections, they could secure the material and expertise to make a deadly weapon of mass destruction.

The risk of a terrorist attack using nuclear or chemical weapons has just gone up.

ISIS is willing to kill large numbers of innocents, and it has added three capabilities that catapult the threat beyond anything seen before: control of large, urban territories, huge amounts of cash, and a global network of recruits.

British Home Secretary Theresa May warned that if ISIS consolidates its control over the land it occupies, “We will see the world’s first truly terrorist state” with “the space to plot attacks against us.”

Here is what way too many people don’t understand about ISIS:

Its seizure of banks and oil fields gave it more than $2 billion in assets. If ISIS could make the right connection to corrupt officials in Russia or Pakistan, the group might be able to buy enough highly enriched uranium (about 50 pounds) and the technical help to build a crude nuclear device. Militants recruited from Europe or America could help smuggle it into their home nations.

And Mr Obama wants to “negotiate” with Iran about nukes, bargaining away one manner of helping to ensure ISIS doesn’t get its hands on fissile materials?  ISIS doesn’t have to possess an actual deployable weapon per se; all it has to do is acquire sufficient material to create a dirty bomb.

This is not only tactically insolvent on Mr Obama’s part, it is another in a series of capitulative moves by our Apologist In Chief, the EOTUS.

Raised by Communists and Muslims, Obaka falls back to his roots when pressed or pressured.

Mr Obama doesn’t even deserve a seat at the kid’s table during Thanksgiving.

And yet, he’s in charge of our nation.

The greatest threat to the United States of America isn’t illegal immigrants.  It isn’t the budget, It isn’t the sequester.  It isn’t the southern border.  It isn’t Vladimir Putin.  It isn’t even Islamic terror, though ISIS is getting close.

The greatest threat to the United States of America is Barack Hussein Obama.
