The deadline is past for DOJ to produce demanded documents

So: what happens on Monday?

What has occurred to the DOJ? Where is Jeff Sessions? Who actually runs the US Department of Justice? Because, at this point, it appears to be Rod Rosenstein. Why is that?

How is it, also, that the DOJ and the FBI — any number of other Alphabet Agencies for that matter — seemingly possess the power to refuse demands by Congress to produce documents? By Congressmen and -women who do in fact hold the requisite security clearances to see and possess such information?

Alan Dershowitz is consulted.

This can be interpreted as nothing more than the DOJ demanding to be completely unaccountable to Congress and by dint of that the American People. Lawful subpoenas were issued by Congress. DOJ is ignoring these legal demands. Congress has been waiting altogether too long. They have been altogether too patient. Now Congress must act.

The DOJ and — yes, let’s admit it — the FBI are now both nothing more than rogue agencies. The bias is rampant, the politicization is rampant — no matter what any talking heads at the DOJ or FBI say. The culture of both of these organizations comes from the top. Whatever the top addresses or doesn’t address or tacitly or quietly condones becomes the environment in which that agency operates.

I’ve said for some time that there is a crash coming and with it — now — a mandatory crisis of confidence. There must be a crisis of confidence. I do not believe the FBI, mostly, now. I do not believe the DOJ, mostly, now. I didn’t start out that way. I used to work for the FBI. I went to Quantico. But I have been dragged kicking and screaming into this current mindset.

We as Americans cannot continue to allow the DOJ and the FBI to operate in this dismissive, haughty, arrogant, irresponsible and unanswerable fashion. They believe that Americans and Congress answer to them, not the other way around.

That cannot stand.

If that means that we impeach DOJ and/or FBI officials, then so be it.

And if that means we rip these agencies apart, then so be it.

The FIX in Phoenix

Democrat LIES via Bill and Hill and LorettaThe fix is in.

To what am I referencing, you may ask?  Please read this, from ABC15 in Phoenix, which reports:

US Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Bill Clinton meet privately in Phoenix before Benghazi report

by Christopher Sign

PHOENIX – Amid an ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of email and hours before the public release of the Benghazi report, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch met privately with former President Bill Clinton.

The private meeting took place on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport on board a parked private plane.

Former President Clinton was visiting the Phoenix area and arrived to Sky Harbor Monday evening to depart.

Sources tell ABC15 Clinton was notified Lynch would be arriving at the airport soon and waited for her arrival.

Let us now do what I call the Logical Extension.  Nothing with regard to American politics occurs in a vacuum.  And Bill Clinton is not only not stupid but he does not operate in a political vacuum.  If there were someone who is cooly, calmly cogitating with regard to politics, it is William Jefferson Clinton.  William Jefferson Clinton exists to fill vacuums.

Translated: Clinton waited for Lynch’s arrival for a very specific reason.  William Jefferson Clinton does not waste time because time is money.  Money.  Because only two items motivate the Clintons:  1) Money, and 2) Power.  Unlike Frank Underwood, the Clinton’s Juggernaut has acquired the point where money and power are roughly equal in their lust.

The meeting was simply coincidental and involved only brusque mandatory pleasantries with regard to grandchildren and such.  Because it was 106-degrees in Phoenix that day and likely 112-degrees on the tarmac.  Because William Jefferson Clinton is customarily motivated by like pleasantries with other Demorats.  When they happen to share private jets at congruent airports.

Despite the fact that William Jefferson Clinton had to deplane his own personal private jet in order to step into the personal private jet of Loretta Elizabeth Lynch.

Yes.  Your tax dollars at work.

Oh wait.  Demorats that William Jefferson Clinton happened to appoint to particular posts.  Oh wait.  Like Loretta Elizabeth Lynch.being nominated In 1999 by William Jefferson Clinton to be US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York?  Yes, like that.

Lynch was arriving in Phoenix for a planned visit as part of her national tour to promote community policing.

ABC15 asked Lynch about the meeting during her news conference at the Phoenix Police Department.

“I did see President Clinton at the Phoenix airport as he was leaving and spoke to myself and my husband on the plane,” said Lynch.

The private meeting comes as Lynch’s office is in charge of the ongoing investigation and potential charges involving Clinton’s email server.

The private meeting also occurred hours before the Benghazi report was released publicly involving Hillary Clinton and President Obama’s administration.

But, wait.

Didn’t press secretary, Josh Earnest, unequivocally state that the investigation of Hillary Clinton would be “free of political influence” and that he would leave it to the attorney general to explain the meeting?

He did.

So what occurred in their thirty-minute very private meeting with no one else around?  Exchanged photos of grandchildren?  Talk about the next season of Game of Thrones?  I suspect not.

I suspect the convo went something like this:

Bill: “You know, Rhett, remember that candy I gave you back in 1999?  I think I could use a little candy in return, but not for me.  For my wife.  Everyone sure loves Hillary.  It would be a shame if she lost the presidency because people thought she was gonna be prosecuted.”

Rhett: “Maybe I can do something about that.”

Bill: “Well Rhett, we sure would be appreciative.  And I bet the Democrats would be appreciative too, her being the first female president and all.  Everybody sure loves Hillary.  And you know, being a Senator has better health benefits, if you’d be interested.”

Never mind about the “optics” of the incident.  The American Media Maggots will do their level best to tamp it down and sweep it under the rug.  Conflict of interest?  Truly, who cares?

What do you think would occur if the roles were reversed?  What if the players involved were all Republicans and this meeting occurred?  The AMM would be on this story for weeks and it would be front page news for that amount of time.

Reporter: FBI ordered ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones’ during Clinton/Lynch meeting

by Larry O/Connor

Reporter Christopher Sign of ABC 15 in Phoenix, AZ appeared on The O’Reilly Factor Thursday night to talk about his scoop involving that secret meeting between former President Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

“The former president steps into her plane. They then speak for 30 minutes privately. The FBI there on the tarmac instructing everybody around ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones.’”

First of all, it isn’t the FBI’s job to tell journalists or private citizens they can’t take photographs of a former president and the Attorney General. What were the agents going to do, arrest people for taking a picture or video?

Also, if there was nothing wrong with the meeting and it was totally innocent, why were federal agents instructed to demand no one take a picture?

PRECISELY.

At the VERY least, Lynch should recuse herself from the matter and appoint a special prosecutor.  At the worst she should be fired and then an investigation opened on her corruption.

After all, I’m sure that Bill and Rhett only talked about their grandkids, right?

I only ask:

Is there one — just one attorney in the DOJ — who is not corrupt?

And can, moreover, take a stand and publicly state that he or she is not broken in the face of rampant agency misconduct and fraudulence?

Right.

I thought not.

DOJ wants to investigate FBI?

Kabuki TheatreFirst, the story from the DailyBeast.com:

Justice Department May Probe Alleged Bergdahl Ransom Payment

by Shane Harris

The department’s top watchdog is considering whether to review allegations that the U.S. paid for the soldier’s freedom, and what role the FBI played in his release.

The Justice Department’s top watchdog is considering whether to review the legality of any payments that the U.S. government may have made for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl and what role the FBI played in efforts to free the soldier from captivity in Pakistan, The Daily Beast has learned.

The department’s inspector general, Michael Horowitz, wrote a letter to a member of Congress this month saying that he had opened a “preliminary inquiry” into the matter, which concerns allegations that the U.S. government paid a ransom for Bergdahl’s freedom, and that in February 2014 the FBI sent a representative to the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan expecting Bergdahl to be released.

Anyone besides me think this is insanity inside of insanity?  The DOJ investigating the FBI for a “payoff” involving Bergdahl?

This is Kabuki Theatre writ large.

Ask yourself: WHY would this occur?

Answer: because the FBI is considering the recommendation of an indictment against Hillary Clinton.

A “preliminary investigation” of the FBI on this ridiculous issue is a proverbial “shot across the bow” to FBI Director James Comey.  Because a source indicates the FBI is going to ask for a Hillary indictment.

Wheels within wheels.

This is DC insanity.

El Chapo had a “Fast & Furious” firearm in hideout

El Chapo Victims

Some of El Chapo’s terrible handiwork in Mexico. F&F firearms were used to kill El Chapo’s enemies and innocents alike.

And not just “any” firearm; oh no.

FAST AND FURIOUS GraphicYou remember Holder’s “Fast & Furious” debacle, right?  The one where US Attorney General Eric Holder’s BATFE thought it would be a splendid idea to allow weapons to cross into Mexico under its “supervision” as Operation Gunrunner, then later as Operation Fast and Furious.  More than 2,000 guns were sold to suspected criminals thought to be linked to the Sinaloa drug cartel and other Mexican criminal organizations in the two years of the operation under the Obama presidency.  Shock of shocks, there were criminals involved.  So in essence the BATFE knowingly allowed US weapons to be “walked” into Mexico.  BATFE agents lost track of 1,400 of the 2,000 guns sold.

On Dec. 14, 2010, US Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed during a gunfight. It was discovered that weapons in the shootout stemmed from the Fast and Furious operation.  A BATFE scheme, therefore, was directly responsible for the death of an American law enforcement officer.

USBP Agent Brian TerryLet us also not forget that documents about F&F were handed over to Representative Darrell Issa’s House Oversight Committee in November of 2014 (four years after the murder of Agent Terry) only after the White House tried to use executive privilege in an attempt to halt emails related to the case, and contempt of Congress charges against Attorney General Eric Holder in 2012,  On June 28th of 2012, AG Holder was in fact held in contempt of Congress — the first time ever for a US presidential cabinet member.

Eric Holder Finger Pointing Kiss My AssHere’s something else people conveniently forget: Emails released to Judicial Watch, a group that filed suit to obtain legal documents from the Justice Department, showed Holder’s direct involvement with officials throughout the Justice Department and the ATF in how to handle congressional inquiries and ways to format talking points about Fast and Furious.

In other words, how to obfuscate and minimize.

Yesterday, from FoxNews.com:

‘Fast & Furious’ rifle capable of taking down helicopter found in ‘El Chapo’ cache

by William La Jeunesse

A.50-caliber rifle found at Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s hideout in Mexico was funneled through the gun-smuggling investigation known as Fast and Furious, sources confirmed Tuesday to Fox News.

When agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives checked serial numbers of the eight weapons found in his possession, they found one of the two .50-caliber weapons traced back to the ATF program, sources said.

Barrett M82 Sniper RifleYou cannot convince me that Project Gunrunner and Operation Fast & Furious weren’t crafted by the Obama administration as an excuse to enact more gun control regulations across the board.  CBS had the records to indicate so.

The NRA’s Wayne LaPierre nailed the issue when he said:

We wouldn’t know about this at all if [Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry] had not been killed and some of the good, honest, decent federal agents down the line had enough of the stench coming out of Washington and started to use the Whistleblower Act to go public and call the Justice Department out on this whole rotten, stinking scheme.

It’s clear the Obama administration and Eric Holder had their anti-gun agendas and did their best to stomp the whistleblowers and stifle the investigation.

Otherwise thousands of guns would still be going over the border into the Mexican drug cartels and the President and the Attorney General and the Secretary of State would all be running around going, ’90 percent of the guns come from America’ in an attempt to seek political advantage and in an attempt to enact more gun control laws on honest American citizens and use this whole issue politically against the Second Amendment of the United States.

Precisely sir.  One of the major reasons I decided to join the NRA recently.  I am tired of Demorats and Leftists trampling on America’s foundational documents.

Good to know the fuckups of Obama and Holder are still the gifts that keep on giving.  How many people did that rifle take out at over 1,000 yards?

More on Racist General Eric Holder: DOJ vs law enforcement

From Townhall.com:

EXCLUSIVE: In Scathing Letter to Obama, Former FBI Assistant Director Slams Holder as “Chief Among Antagonists” in Ferguson

by Katie Pavlich

As the Senate prepares to hold confirmation hearings for new Attorney General nominee Loretta Lynch and as outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder continues to allocate Department of Justice resources to the situation in Ferguson, former FBI Assistant Director and Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund President Ron Hosko has sent a scathing letter to President Obama detailing the damage done to the relationship between law enforcement and DOJ over the past six years.

Let me be immediately blunt: Eric Holder believes that the US is a “nation of cowards” (2009) when it comes to the topic of race.  He says “I think we are still a nation that is too afraid to confront racial issues.”  In this issue I happen to think Holder is correct but for wildly different reasons.  GOWPs (Guilty Overeducated White People) are afraid to speak of racial issues out of fear.  Fear of being branded as a racist — which is a label that can affect both work and private aspects of an individual’s life.  A Caucasoid’s life, specifically.  Holder, on the other hand, means it this way: most all Caucasoids are racists.  And any conversations expressed or implied by Eric Holder, his DOJ and Mr Obama are certainly one-way only.  They speak; you listen and shut up if you’re Caucasoid.

Former FBI Assistant Director Ron Hosko continues:

“The hyper-politicization of justice issues has made it immeasurably more difficult for police officers to simply do their jobs. The growing divide between the police and the people – perhaps best characterized by protesters in Ferguson, Mo., who angrily chanted, “It’s not black or white. It’s blue!” – only benefits of members of a political class seeking to vilify law enforcement for other societal failures. This puts our communities at greater risk, especially the most vulnerable among us,” Hosko wrote in the letter exclusively obtained by Townhall. “Your attorney general, Eric Holder, is chief among the antagonists. During his tenure as the head of the Department of Justice, Mr. Holder claims to have investigated twice as many police and police departments as any of his predecessors. Of course, this includes his ill-timed decision to launch a full investigation into the Ferguson Police Department at the height of racial tensions in that community, throwing gasoline on a fire that was already burning. Many officers were disgusted by such a transparent political maneuver at a time when presidential and attorney general leadership could have calmed a truly chaotic situation.”

Director Hosko is entirely correct.  Both Holder and Obama have and continue to take paths of lesser resistance when the issues involve race and blacks in America.  There are clear incidents at which to point.

This, then, is a highly important paragraph in the article:

In August, Holder sent Department of Justice officials from the Civil Rights Division and dozens of FBI agents to Ferguson to investigate the case before the official autopsy was conducted and nearly suggested in a statement that Officer Wilson was guilty of a crime before any evidence was produced.

The local grand jury has not returned a True Bill against Officer Wilson.  The autopsy report has not yet been officially released to the public.  Yet the American media and Leftists and our DC administration, the US DOJ, acted — is acting — as though the situation is cut and dried: Michael Brown was shot for no reason other than an individual officer’s racial animus.

What a load of crap.

“It won’t be long before the American people turn their attention to other matters. Long after Ferguson is forgotten, police officers across America will still remember the way their senior federal executives turned their back on them with oft-repeated suggestions that race-based policing drives a biased, broken law enforcement agenda,” Hosko continued.

If you recall, this is the same Mr Holder who very pointedly failed to even consider an investigation into Philadelphia Black Panther members standing before voting places with weapons in hand as documented on a viral video.  That set the tone for racial issues under Holder’s administration at DOJ.  And his racial bias.

Self-described Communist Van Jones (former Green Jobs advisor) typified Mr Obama as being “forced” into a meeting with “racist” Cambridge PD Sgt James Crowley, following the arrest of Henry Louis Gates    This is the same Van Jones who blamed “white polluters and white environmentalists” for “steering poison” into urban minority communities.

Let us not forget, regarding the arrest of Henry Gates — who is black — that it was Mr Obama himself who threw around various labels — prior to the facts being all in — regarding the Cambridge Police Department and Sgt Crowley.  From Breitbart.com:

After word of the arrest broke, the President weighed in during a press conference saying that while he didn’t have all the facts, “the Cambridge police acted stupidly.” The White House quickly tried to walk back the remark.

This White House, this president and Eric Holder have a history of making racial accusations prior to the facts being established, and their racial bias taints aspects of their politics, besides other base motivations.  That much is clear.  And, frankly, racist.

Holder appears to believe that cops are racist in nature and deserving of few of the rights afforded most other United States citizens.  As in: assuming the Ferguson Police Department in Missouri is racist in nature as is Police Officer Darren Wilson.  It is this that sours the relationship between the US DOJ and law enforcement around the nation.

I’ve had people tell me both to my face and in e-mails that I appear to concentrate far too much time and effort on “so-called racism in blacks” which, therefore, makes them very uncomfortable with me.  I have been told that these posts receive few or no comments because readers don’t want to be associated with the topic.  I have been told that my current “posting trend” (as it was called) with regard to this issue and that of Islam is tending to make people stray from my blog in any event, and that is why the number of hits to BZ has been plummeting markedly.  In truth, the opposite is occurring; my hits are expanding.

Why have I been writing so much about these two issues?  Easy answer: because I am tired of paragraphs like this from Eric Holder:

“There’s a certain level of vehemence, it seems to me, that’s directed at me [and] directed at the president,” Holder told ABC, citing “people talking about taking their country back” as an example.

I am tired of blacks playing the “race card” when it is politically expedient.  It is a wolf’s cry that diminishes true racism.  Racism that can be bidirectional as well — that too few will call.  But I will.  I am beyond tired of being stereotyped as a racist because I am conveniently Caucasoid, male, older and worse yet, a cop.  I am tired of being told that only Caucasoids can be racist when, in fact, there are multiple continuing examples of racism by a group of persons whom many believe, by dint of melanin count, cannot be racist.  And that is crap is well.

True equality runs both ways.  And until it does and the bullshit hypocrisy stops, I shall continue to provide pushback when and how I deem fit.

FBI Assistant Director Hosko makes an excellent point.

I will continue to make mine.
