Expert Testifies to Congress that Obama’s ‘Ignoring Laws’ Could Lead to Overthrow of Government

White House ExplosionI was planning two specific posts for today and tomorrow, when the above headline caught my eye.  I bring that article to you now, from MediaIte.com:

by Noah Rothman

During a congressional committee hearing about the constitutional limits imposed on the presidency and the implications of President Barack Obama’s disregard for implementing the Affordable Care Act as written, one expert testified that the consequences of the president’s behavior were potentially grave. He said that the precedent set by Obama could eventually lead to an armed revolt against the federal government.

Apparently one person, named Michael Cannon, seems to “get it.”  Continuing:

On Tuesday, Michael Cannon, Cato Institute’s Director of Health Policy Studies, testified before a congressional committee about the dangers of the president’s legal behavior.

“There is one last thing to which the people can resort if the government does not respect the restraints that the constitution places on the government,” Cannon said. “Abraham Lincoln talked about our right to alter our government or our revolutionary right to overthrow it.”

And, in concert with Lincoln, JFK said:

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

 Mr Cannon’s most important sentence:

“If the people come to believe that the government is no longer constrained by the laws, then they will conclude that neither are they.”

I have written, essentially, the same thing before on this very blog, but with regard to illegal immigration.  Now, we have the additional issue of ObamaKare.

Michael F. Cannon is the Director of Health Policy Studies for the Cato Institute think tank.  Check their site here.

Mr Cannon also spoke to Glenn Beck about the unaccountability of Kathleen Sebelius, the Arrogant Bitch that she is:

Do you believe that?  If Obama fired Sebelius, he would have to nominate a new HHS secretary to be confirmed by the Senate.  The confirmation hearings would be a “bloodbath.”  And all the powers of the ACA would fall to her.  Except now?  It is a filibuster-LESS Senate.  51 votes.

I already posted on Michael Cannon writing about Kathleen Sebelius shaking down companies she regulates for ObamaKare.

Unpacking Mr Cannon’s words from above: as I wrote a number of times earlier with regard to illegal immigrants and the government’s decision to NOT enforce laws on the books —

If the government can decide to avoid and disregard its own laws — essentially picking and choosing which laws it wishes to enforce (without eliminating those laws statutorily) — then what keeps any other actual citizen from deciding to pick and choose which laws he or she wishes to obey when they become inconvenient?

If Mr Obama disregards the law, then why should Americans keep the law?

You tell me.

Here is the goodness of people taught to demand something for nothing:

Walmart EBT 1From KSLA.com, channel 12 in Louisiana:

Walmart shelves in Springhill, Mansfield, cleared in EBT glitch

By Carolyn Roy

MANSFIELD, LA (KSLA) –

Shelves in Walmart stores in Springhill and Mansfield, LA were reportedly cleared Saturday night, when the stores allowed purchases on EBT cards even though they were not showing limits.

The chaos that followed ultimately required intervention from local police, and left behind numerous carts filled to overflowing, apparently abandoned when the glitch-spurred shopping frenzy ended.

Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd confirms they were called in to help the employees at Walmart because there were so many people clearing off the shelves. He says Walmart was so packed, “It was worse than any black Friday” that he’s ever seen.

Wait a minute.  Is this reporter and the police chief attempting to intimate that those poor, helpless and needy persons may have been exhibiting a modicum of greed stemming from their new-found Free Cheese “open” EBT cards?

Lynd explained the cards weren’t showing limits and they called corporate Walmart, whose spokesman  said to let the people use the cards anyway. From 7 to 9 p.m., people were loading up their carts, but when the cards began showing limits again around 9, one woman was detained because she rang up a bill of $700.00 and only had .49 on her card. She was held by police until corporate Walmart said they wouldn’t press charges if she left the food.

Lynd says at 9 p.m., when the cards came back online and it was announced over the loud speaker, people just left their carts full of food in the aisles and left.

There was, however, a huge mess left behind. Pictures and videos obtained by KSLA News 12 show aisles packed with shoppers emptying the shelves in Springhill. Another video shows what appear to be at least dozens of overflowing carts left abandoned in the aisles at the Mansfield store, against the backdrop of emptied shelves in the meat department.

The reporting indicating that persons who discovered their cards had limits and simply left their carts in situ must be false.  Surely the upright, righteous and the truly needy would have assisted the store in trying to return stock to shelves, as the principled, good-hearted and true persons they are.

KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana News Weather

Let’s talk straight for a moment, shall we?

Predominantly populated by blacks and the grossly obese, the Walmart shelves were sacked by persons who were conducting clear and obvious fraud when they realized that some kind of computer glitch allowed them to, literally, take whatever they wanted from the shelves with no consequences and no limits.  For a full two hours.

“That’s plain theft, that’s stealing, that’s all I got to say about it.”

The carts left behind beg another question for Walmart and future purchasers: how long was the frozen food left out, and would you go back and purchase that frozen food yourself?

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what you get when your loving federal government has taught people, for generations, to not work, to not keep males in the family nucleus.

You can thank your federal government for the literal explosion of gangs, comprised of individuals who are looking for nothing more than acceptance, importance, inclusion and a sense of belonging — something they do not get in today’s purposely-fragmented families.  Which they do get in gangs.

July 4th

Obama Imperial FaceI’m at work today, but in celebration of this day, I recommend reading the information at these links:

The Declaration of Independence.

The US Constitution.

The Bill of Rights.

The Federalist Papers.

When in doubt, always, always go back to the basics.

God bless America, the last and best supporter of freedom on the planet and, as always, an experiment in progress.

Today’s government, unfortunately, confiscates your rights and then sells them back to you via taxes and blood.  The greatest threat to this country and its American Taxpayer is not Islam or Right Wing radicals and soldiers — as the federal government would have you believe.  It is that government itself.

More Americans View Blacks As Racist Than Whites, Hispanics

Newsweek_Racist_Baby_ReduxI am astounded by this poll.

It represents the truth, but I still find it amazing to have seen the light of day.

From RasmussenReports.com:

Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Americans consider blacks more likely to be racist than whites and Hispanics in this country.

Thirty-seven percent (37%) of American Adults think most black Americans are racist, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 15% consider most white Americans racist, while 18% say the same of most Hispanic Americans. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

There is a huge ideological difference on this topic. Among conservative Americans, 49% consider most blacks racist, and only 12% see most whites that way. Among liberal voters, 27% see most white Americans as racist, and 21% say the same about black Americans.

From a partisan perspective, 49% of Republicans see most black Americans as racist, along with 36% of unaffiliated adults and 29% of Democrats.

Among black Americans, 31% think most blacks are racist, while 24% consider most whites racist and 15% view most Hispanics that way.

Read the rest of the article.

That said, do you think this video had anything to do with the polling results?

Of course not.  And AG Eric Holder — a black man — actively deciding to not prosecute this incident on behalf of his black president?  Why, that would have nothing to do with this poll.

Would it?

Philadelphia did it again in 2012:

Whilst in the mid-90s, my Robbery Bureau supervisor (when I was a detective in that bureau) told me that I couldn’t publish the actual stats in my department regarding robberies because it could be interpreted as racist: 84% of the robberies in my entire county were perpetrated by blacks affiliated with black gangs.

My then-division commander in 2000 told me that I was not selected for promotion because I was a white male.  She at least had the balls that other male captains hadn’t.

Opposing ObamaCare is racist.  Not wanting to employ a criminal makes you a racist.  The History Channel is racist.  Your toaster is racist.  Your baby is racist.  Your cat is racist.

Anyone besides me starting to find this crap tedious?

Stupid but true and caught on video:

Stupid but true again: Mr Obama will pay for blacks’ gas and mortgages:

Tawana Brawley?

The news reports at the time, in the late 1980s, were horrific. Tawana Brawley, a 15-year-old African-American girl from the New York City area, was said to have been abducted and repeatedly raped by six white men. She was found with “KKK” written across her chest, a racial epithet on her stomach and her hair smeared with feces. She was so traumatized, according to reports, that at the hospital she answered yes-or-no questions by blinking her eyes. Making the crime even more vile, if that were possible, she and her lawyers later claimed that two of the rapists were law enforcement officials.

Ms. Brawley’s spokesman was the Rev. Al Sharpton — a dapper television personality and political commentator these days, but a fiery street activist back then. At a news conference, he named suspects.

Then, of course, it all fell apart.  Complete and utter fabricated crap.

And about six months after the hoax, Ms. Brawley’s former boyfriend told Newsday that she had invented the allegations, apparently to avoid a beating by her mother’s boyfriend after running away from home for four days.

Which was the most racist party of all historically?  Correct: Democrats.  Which party freed slaves?  Correct: Republicans.  With what party was George Wallace affiliated?  Correct: Democrat.  What party was Martin Luther King, Jr affiliated?  Correct: Republican.

Facts you do not hear or read of from the American Media Maggots.

AMM - American Media Maggots 1Who are today’s Racial and Poverty Pimps?  Correct: Sharpton and Jackson.  Check their financials.  Ask actual questions.  Have an actual inquisitive mind.

There are so many other places I could go and other things I could say.  And, of course, I know nothing about this.  Not because I’ve been in law enforcement for 42 years.  And not because I see it every day via my wife’s house, isolated, in Ghetto Centrale — a place she cannot afford to leave, where the scrawny black dude down the street slings dope every day and where our law enforcement budget is slashed to make way for the expansion of social services enabling even more Free Cheese in Fornicalia.

So, truly, am I shocked by this poll?

Not at all.  It finally starts to reflect the actual situation, in at least my state.

Does the worm begin to turn?
